Title. Better yet, install a minimum competency level requirement to play Ranked.

It would be simple. Do you not communicate with your team? Do you not ward? Do you chase after the enemy and walk right into ambushes? Then you can't play ranked, which is intended for serious competitive play, until you can improve.

communication with pings or talking, since talking should be mandatory, pings i would be fine with though.

warding i'm also fine with since everyone can get warding trinket, or at least use sweeper if they get that instead, even if they don't find wards.

walking into ambushes can't really be tested at all, and sometimes, it just happens. i also highly doubt you will avoid this forever, if you haven't already run into facechecking of some sort. same idea happens when a team baits baron by clearing and it's a trap, even LCS players have gotten caught by this.

to sum it up, you want people to be tested on pinging and using trinkets. that should be simple enough for the minimum, though i doubt riot will actually force people to do these two things even. i do like the idea slightly, though i don't think it would actually change anything on any real scale.

Thats what we have bronze and silver for. Thats punishment enough

The unskilled player option didn't really serve any purpose other than allowing players to vent. you can't ban a player because he sucks at league, that would be madness!

It should just accelerate LP losses so they get demoted faster, not actually ban them.

And if you lose repeatedly at 0LP B5, you can't queue for ranked until you win a certain amount of matchmade normal games.

So you want them to bring back a reporting option that did nothing? People do realize that the option for that (as well as other reportable options) were basically false reports that did nothing. People made myths with no actual evidence mind you, just to make themselves feel better.

While i do agree there needs to be something done especially for people who dont take Rank seriously, its just not going to happen. This game needs a winning and a losing side. You will be on both sides one point in your time with this game. What you are basically saying is that a person can be good at the game, but since they lost they would need to play X-amount of Normals to get back into playing which makes no sense. The games could be evenly matched, it just so happen that this time you lost, and since you are at 0LP you basically get Rank Ban for absolutely nothing.

There could be better ways for this. I feel like Rank should not only take into account how your play as a team, but also how you play as an Individual. So while this team matchup for this game was bad, you did well for yourself while in game, but still lost. You shouldnt get penalize for that, but at least not lose a bunch of LP.

I say they need to make a Tinfoil and Wood Division.

"unskilled player" never punished anyone anyways. It was a venting tool that people abused and now people just say "REPOOORRRTTTTTT" because of that.

2 things could be happening :

You have not played enough games to reach your actual MMR. Play more games and you will climb and you will be rid of the people who can't play
Your overall skill level is comparable to these players. This game is very multidimensional. It is not impossible that you have better decision making, mechanics, map awareness etc. but that you are being held back by (for example) your communication skills, your contributions to morale, your team fight abilities, etc.
