Ive known him long enough to know that he's just extremely ham and aggressive regardless of his kda (he loves to play tanks). Though when he plays a new squishier champion and starts to like them he plays them as if he were a tank. He'll generally die A LOT if things go badly for him ( worst I've seen was 30 deaths [ he was playing the old poppy and myself irelia in an aram. He'd never played her before and when he realized what her ult enabled him to do he would dive into the enemy team at every opportunity he got. We ended up winning because i decided to say fuck it and be ham like him.]

I'm a bit worried that he might get banned for intentionally feeding when in reality he's just really crazy in game trying to have fun. Could this lead to a ban if the footage of the game shows that he just dies a lot and isnt actually trying to die?

While he might not be 'intentionally feeding', it doesn't sound like he is making an effort to stay alive. I'm not an expert on the system, but if you are regularly dying 10+ times in games, you'll probably get hit eventually.

Riot is pretty good at determining who is feeding intentionally vs. just having a bad game.

I went a legitimate 3/14 in a rough 50-minute loss today, no chance I'm getting punished for it. Shit happens.
