Uhhh.. am I in trouble? (Odd situation here)

So i just want to start off by saying i am not banned. I have never been punished in anyway. However i am concerned about an event that happened to me today.

So a long time ago. I found myself getting very frustersted with the state of LoL and i was becoming toxic. Rather then risk my account being banned i took a very very almost half a year to a full year long break to cool down and collect myself. Recently i started playing again and i find my behaviour has improved alot.

However today i got a strange e-mail from Riot stating my account was banned. Whats strange is my account is not banned (not yet anyway) and the name of the banned account in the e-mail is completely different then my summoner name or account name.

Did i maybe get a ban e-mail that was meant for someone else? Or am i about to be banned? Should i be scared? Not sure what to do at this point.

What exactly does the email say? Kinda sounds more like someone is phishing for your login info.

Send a report ticket maybe someone with a similar Name got banned and Waits for his mail

maybe you registered multiple accounts to that one email and forgot?

Sounds like you got an email intended for someone else. If you log in one day and find your account banned for some reason, remember you can always get the best answers directly from Riot by submitting a ticket to Player Support!
