I would, but I can't post summoner names. Needless to say the data is shocking and you are better off not knowing.

The only strategy so far, that seems to have any effect is figuring out the very short periods of time during the day when this type of activity is at its lowest.

It can be anonymous. Assigning a particular summoner a number and just using that won't change the 'study', but if your methods are flawed then the conclusion could be as well.

of course, then games is a drop in the bucket, and doesn't prove anything, but will be illustrative.

Because it's not cool to derail someone's thread for an unrelated discussion, and I can only give you personal opinions that aren't going to fix the problem or facts you won't like anyway. Sometimes a really bad player is indistinguishable from a troll, and in the lowest elo this is fairly common which is why it's so hard to catch the real trolls. Riot does not want to ban players just because they are bad.

If you think you have solid evidence that a players is intentionally ruining games on a regular basis, gather and submit it in a ticket. Riot certainly always wants to improve their detection systems (and some are actively being worked on), but it'll never be as good as you want.

Would having a winrate of 3 and 100 on 3 champions then having a winrate of 100 and 3 on 3 other champions not be solid proof? The player claimed they were just not good at those 3 champions. What I'm trying to argue is that there are many players low key trolling/intentionally losing that will never get caught. Sure in lower elos it can be harder to detect some of the trolls but the system is still doing a horrible job at it. At least nowhere as good as it should be.

This. I love, JUST LOVE the posts about, "but it's not against the rulez to try new things" I mean, it's obvious these people invest time into maintaining this charade across all social media channels.

Like when fiddle was supposed to be buffed or something in beta, all of sudden I have the fiddle support trolls, and even worse, the trolls here who think they are fooling someone (actually they fool the majority of players to be honest) with this "fiddle is actually pretty good support...bla bla bla bla"

I mean it's utter nonsense and gibberish. These people, and streamers in particular do the exact same formulaic trolling.

Lkie for instance, here is one type of boring fakery:

step1: troll account on enemy team picks non meta champ step2: have your friend or your other account, exclaim "wtf?!" or something similar, step3: make fun of non-meta pick in team chat

ex: "TEEMO ADC??? LOL OLOL LOL"

Troll to English Translation: Teemo will dominate bot lane. Summoners will complain about "lag" and inability to ult. Someone will call to ff around 3-4 minutes into game

lots of post-mortem pinging. the best and most useful kind of pings. (sarcasm)

Just play normals, Ranked isn't worth doing, i have made many threads which people down-vote because of how hateful i get but unfortunately what I say is true. Look at these facts:

Ranked - Forced to play this so people can judge your game knowledge based on rank(?) To earn a Border which provides no special feeling since it gets removed if you don't keep the same rank area(Gold Season 6/Silver Season 7, you get a silver border) Forced against highly toxic pre-mades and troll ally pre-mades making a poor game-play experience for you. Trudging through Ranked to reach Gold 5 for 1, MAYBE 2, free skins..but it's probably just one and it'll be for someone nobody wants it for, or #biglcsplays. A majority of the trolls will come here, and honestly the only good thing about Ranked is having a shiny new skin.
Normals - Remember that shiny new skin for Ranked? Oh boy. Cue Hextech Crafting, as atrocious has this free skin giving system is, you can still earn more than what you'd gain in Ranked.. even ward skins....AND YES ULTIMATE SKINS too! (30 dollar skins) You don't have to play serious, and altho im one of the people who likes to win, i can still have fun. Less trolls/afks/feeders and even when you do get one you can actually accept it and lose and not feel as terrible as you would in Ranked. Pre-mades aren't as bad as they are in Ranked.

Honestly I don't see a point in Ranked anymore. Leave it to the children who want it kept because it's honestly not even fun winning Ranked anymore, it's completely one sided every game.

P.S. if you play Ranked over Normals, the only thing you get out of it is a Border, I don't count the new skin cause hextech crafting gives you free skins, without having to suffer nearly as bad.

This used to be the case for me too, but now I get the same boring trolls in normals, non-speaking bots with OBVIOUS bot summoner names, afk ff-at-5-minutes-into-game trolls, etc etc. etc.
