I started meticulously tracking feeders/afks/trolls in my ranked matches....
...got depressed and stopped.
Conclusion: It doesn't even out. Not even close.

Could you provide a detailed report of your method and data?
Just play normals, Ranked isn't worth doing, i have made many threads which people down-vote because of how hateful i get but unfortunately what I say is true. Look at these facts:

Ranked - Forced to play this so people can judge your game knowledge based on rank(?) To earn a Border which provides no special feeling since it gets removed if you don't keep the same rank area(Gold Season 6/Silver Season 7, you get a silver border) Forced against highly toxic pre-mades and troll ally pre-mades making a poor game-play experience for you. Trudging through Ranked to reach Gold 5 for 1, MAYBE 2, free skins..but it's probably just one and it'll be for someone nobody wants it for, or #biglcsplays. A majority of the trolls will come here, and honestly the only good thing about Ranked is having a shiny new skin.

Normals - Remember that shiny new skin for Ranked? Oh boy. Cue Hextech Crafting, as atrocious has this free skin giving system is, you can still earn more than what you'd gain in Ranked.. even ward skins....AND YES ULTIMATE SKINS too! (30 dollar skins) You don't have to play serious, and altho im one of the people who likes to win, i can still have fun. Less trolls/afks/feeders and even when you do get one you can actually accept it and lose and not feel as terrible as you would in Ranked. Pre-mades aren't as bad as they are in Ranked.
Honestly I don't see a point in Ranked anymore. Leave it to the children who want it kept because it's honestly not even fun winning Ranked anymore, it's completely one sided every game.
P.S. if you play Ranked over Normals, the only thing you get out of it is a Border, I don't count the new skin cause hextech crafting gives you free skins, without having to suffer nearly as bad.
