Fixing mouse and graphics setting in bots = leave busted?

I just played a game coop vs bots on a different laptop and was playing around with settings. I lowered graphics, changed to borderless window, some hotkeys, mouse movement ect. During this I was moving around the map a bit, just testing out the mouse and such before I actually went to lane. Then I joined in when I was done. I ended up with the same level and such as the rest of the players the end of the game.

I got leave busted for this and now have to wait 5 minutes to play again??

I obviously being lv1 when others were lv5 would be an issue in PvP but this was coop vs bots. It doesn't matter if someone enters late, or is afk for a couple minutes, or even straight up DC's. It's bots. That's why I did it there..
