Playing the game inside of a virtual machine should be banned.
Elo boosters have ruined ranked integrity completely.
I honestly hope Riot Games gets sued for fraud by allowing this to continue.
One elo boosting company even claims that it has friends at riot, and therefore knows how to avoid being detected and banned. Those employees should be uncovered and fired.

Nørse1 votesFraud? How are they defrauding someone? Because Elo Boosting companies exist? People get banned for boosting/being boosted all of the time. Given the game is free to play, they can only bar the door of entry for so long. IP bans are not effective because of how easy spoofing is, and you don't need to run league in a virtual machine...so no idea why you even think that is a huge problem.
If you meant on a VPN... well there isn't a way to police that either. Plenty of people use VPN's for perfectly legitimate reasons, be it to try and circumvent ISP issues that cause latency issues, or for personal security, etc etc.
I think you are getting trashed by high elo smurfs more than anything, I see them far more often than I see boosters. I have people on my friends list in high diamond that make new accounts because they need to de-stress and a fresh start does something to re-invigorate them. I personally hate 1-30 so could never do it...but you can't ban people for smurfing either. Its not against the ToS.
If you see people AFK botting, report them and move on. Riot can't police accounts that aren't being flagged by the players. Hundreds of thousands of new accounts are made probably monthly. They can't police all of that traffic reliably. So, report the accounts you see and move on. There is no 'Fraud' taking place. You can't sue a company for the end user afking in a game to try and speed boost to 30.

I know exactly how the IP addresses work. I never said ban IP addresses or anything else of the sort. I also don't care about smurf accounts, as long as the game is not a complete and total fraud like many games are.

There are so many elo boosters and cheaters using fake accounts and the problem is so widespread that reporting does virtually nothing given the current system and how riot identifies cheating.
Boosters know that all the players need to have a certain amount of kills per game, which is exactly why they stop going into one lane and then focus on one player specifically, while their fake accounts stand completely still doing nothing in the other lanes.
The only people getting fooled by this shit is riot apparently.
5 games in a row where 1-2 feeders say the SAME EXACT SHIT AND FOLLOW THE SAME EXACT PATTERN, and this happening over and over again , IS NOT A FUCKING COINCIDENCE.
Riot is essentially letting this go unchecked, and I hope that they get sued for intentional negligence in this regard. Intentional negligence resulting in a certain outcome is legitimate case, I hope they get sued for it.
furthermore, most VPN add latency rather than eliminate it, but that's another topic. since there are some legitimate purposes I can understand their usage, but it definitely should not be as widespread as it is. I would put all such accounts into a special category and observed for suspicious activity.

When you get 3-4 games in a row, with "oh no i forgot smite" ...2-3 afks, accounts all with random number sequences at the end of the summoner name, players roaming about doing nothing all game, it's not a coincidence anymore, it's blatant fraud.
...and I'm not talking about the boosters, I'm talking about riot games looking the other way and doing nothing.

I want boosting prices to skyrocket because riot has increased the amount of effort required. They need to make it unprofitable.
