Ok now that you brought this up, I can cover it too;

False reports do not hurt you. If you retaliate and get toxic then you are only going to validate the reports, but if you ignore them and stay composed then their reports will do nothing, and they will lose weight in their future reports.

Every time I get a report, I step away from the game. I got 3 reports in 2 days, mostly because when I play poorly these past 2 days, there are jerks around who want to call me out and single me out, and I want to justify my play style and ask for help.

I will get reported by jerks for having any discussion at all with jerks if my play is poor.

I swear to you, if you make the effort to let it go and focus on the match you will enjoy LoL so much more.

Do you think I don't ever get flamed when I perform poorly? I'm not treated any differently than you, but my reaction is one of two things instead; 1) Mute them, problem solved, or 2) Brush it off and apologize for my mistake and ask to just focus on the game. If I do #2 and it still escalates, I go ahead and do #1 and cut it short this time. I never let myself get baited into being toxic, and I don't let them ruin my game.

Just mute them make the most of your match. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
