Open Question Concerning Scripts

Scripting is a bane for everyone in this game. Whether it's facing off against Broken Wings Rivens or Wind Walker Yasuos, or just generic Orb Walker or BoL scripts, I know a lot of people can attest from ample experience that it is an awful time.

Riot has a hard time fighting scripting as they would need to fund and work an entire department dedicated JUST to scriptbusting. The Tribunal system is ineffective in dealing with the problem through no fault of its own.

I've heard it speculated that scripts can be written that can detect the presence of other scripts and shut them down. So, my question is this.

Would Riot condone such an anti-script? Would they allow the player base to take matters into their own hands and stop these scripts themselves?

I know the Tribunal process for sweeping through cheaters is automatic at this point, so anybody using an injector will be banned without prior notice. Does anyone think they'd consider making an exception?
