Apparently mild-toxic triggerwords make even positive chats punishable

As I write this, I am helping a fellow player I met to write a proper support ticket to Riot support team because apparently, she got chat-restricted, and with that her honor dropped to 1 (which is about the only reason she is even mentionable mad about), because she mentioned certain keywords in a completely non-negative chat for, and I'm speaking from assumptions, the raw amount of those words being mentioned. which was a handful of times. Maybe that was it, IDK, which is why I write this, to ask you guys.

The short story is, she and her team didn't really get along, one person decides to troll the game so they get mid, the rest freaks out, first they flame the troller, but after continuous kill stealing and leaving my friend to die, the team decided to keep insulting her instead, and she got caught with a punishment because she repeatedly told them their behavior is punishable (not threats like "Enjoy ban" etc, literally said they are punishable, not they will be punished) and that kDa does not justify trolling because the troll kept beating her down with spamming scores and null-boxing her down with heavy shaming. Yes, before she proceeded to just ignore the chat and play as good as she could, which was a breakdown-worthy minimum due to her being in a literal 1v9 situation, she did repeat herself about 3 times, so she wrote not too little, but it wasn't too much either, at least from where I sit.

I write this because I want an opinion from others about this. Since I know from both experience and careful studying that the IFS system mostly works with the recognition of key-WORDS and not key-sentences, but still share a shred of doubt for my friend's case because I have for a very long time defended the punishment system and want to spare myself the shame of having to discover it does possess an abusable flaw, which would mean for a very long time I made people passively feel like shit with my reviews on their behaviour for much less than I believed in.

What does everyone else think about this? And please...spare my post with preaches of Riot's system being either holy or satanic, it isn't shit but Riot has lately earned the right to be questioned for a lot of their stuff. So I want neutral ground about that. I solely want people's view on this case.

Edit: I will try to convince her to post her chatlogs either here as a comment, or on a separate post. Also, I have mentioned everything there is to it, there weren't heavy trigger words from not even the most toxic one from that game, and so far this seems to be the entire case. There is no hidden other factor, I'd appreciate it if people actually read through and give their opinion on the case, and not try to correct something that isn't even there. I did say, spare my post the preach for the punishment's system.

Hmmm... you aware that the system punishes based on consistency x severity?

Sounds like that your friend ngaged in Passive-aggressiveness which is a punishable offense and certainly not just for 1 game.

You know how this works, we'd have to see her chat log if you wanted us to judge one way or the other.

Based on your story I'm inclined to come down on your friend's side, but without evidence to back that story up I'd have no way of knowing if you're just tricking us or not.

Have your friend log on and post their own chat logs here, I can't speak for others but I am usually nice as long as the person posting doesn't go around insulting others and making unreasonable demands.

Are there certain keywords that I'm fine with being scanned and banned for those alone (baring the rare case where it's just quoted)? Sure.

"kys", racial slurs, insults, and so forth

I'm perfectly fine with them just scanning for those because context isn't necessary 99% of the time for those. Certain words and phrases don't need additional context because they show negative behavior no matter the context.
