PSA to low elo players

Dear fellow low elo players, do you ever play on a friends account or let a friend play on your account? Do you do this in ranked games? If you are not the same elo, doing this is a disservice to everyone in that match. When high elo players play on a low elo player's account, it is called elo boosting. This is illegal and punished when caught by Riot. Why? It advances the low elo player to an elo too high for them to compete at, it unfairly drops the elo of the opposing team who may very well have deserved to win if they had played against the actual owner of the low elo account, and it boosts the teammates of the "low elo player" (high elo boosting for the low elo player) beyond the rank they deserve. Why talk about elo boosting and high elo players boosting for low elo players? Because when you allow a lower elo friend to play ranked games on your account, you are doing the exact opposite of elo boosting. You are in fact sentencing that player's teammates to a loss they may not deserve. You are unfairly causing elo deflation to "your" (your lower elo friend's) teammates while boosting the enemy team's rankings beyond what they should be. Just as elo boosting is punishable, so is allowing others to play on your ranked account if they are of lower elo. Let them play a normal game, let them DUO with you if they are close enough in elo (because riot will then have an accurate measure of the elo of your whole team and adjust opponents accordingly), but do not let them play ranked on your account.

I mean, you're right, but there will still be boosters. However, if they really wanted to fix this then they would probs try their best to see what the win rate of that profile used to be. Like an example would be like... a girl(not being sexist) is bronze 5, had a 25% win rate because of toxicity, ragequitting, or lack of understanding game mechanics. Then a booster(probably her plat 5 boyfriend)shows up and boosts her to silver 3 and throughout that time the booster has been on the account he's had a 75% win rate on that account as opposed to the 25%. Its messed up and may seem like a caste system, but Riot should keep tabs on this to prevent future boosting. However, there are nearly 7 million accounts on the league of legends server and maybe 15% of that are inactive accounts. The odds of my idea coming into fruition would probably never become a thing considering time and money spent(even though Riot is a billion dollar industry now).summoner 3

I mean... account sharing is against the TOS, so if they're caught doing such a thing their account is getting banned.
