Why is that the people that choose to troll this game are least punished? But those that are upset at this person and voice it as they see fit are chat restricted and/or banned because they used strong words? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Here's an analogy to help you understand...

Picture a crowded room full of people. It's relatively quiet until someone randomly starts yelling insults at everyone. Then, another person starts yelling back at them in an equally impolite and crude manner. What this does is turn one problem into an even bigger one for everyone else, because instead of one jerry yelling there are now two.

You see what I'm saying? A person being toxic doesn't give you the free pass to rip on him. You can ask them to shut up or just mute them, but don't flame them back.

So you think them doing something wrong justifies you doing something wrong? Just report them after the game and move on, it's really that simple and you won't get yourself in trouble.

Why is that the people that choose to troll this game are least punished?

Because currently, non-verbal toxic behaviors are more difficult to accurately detect. As such, it takes somewhat longer for them to receive punishment. However, the punishment scale for non-verbal toxicity is much shorter - starting with a 14-day ban, and moving straight to perma-ban on a second offense. In fact, it's quite possible to skip the 14-day ban stage, depending on what they're doing and how often they're doing it.

So while the punishments for non-verbally toxic players are fewer, they're also harsher.

But those that are upset at this person and voice it as they see fit are chat restricted and/or banned because they used strong words?

Because that's also not acceptable. And it's easier to detect.

Been that way since they removed the tribunal; their ai system can't read between the lines like people can.
