You banned my friend for nothing.

My friend, who goes by the name of Deigh....has been banned for 14 days, for abusive language. I watch his matchs, because alot of times we take turns, on our accounts. He got reported for nothing, and then banned 14 days for nothing. Shouldn't you guys at least look into these types of things, before banning someone? I think this is ridiculous. If this ever happens to me, i'll take my money, and time, and effort, and pour it into another game. I'm disgusted.

Well, if you want to help convince others that your friend was banned for nothing, you're going to need to provide the chat logs that your friend was sent (with your friend's permission of course). If you do, I or one of the regulars here can help provide some insight to what helped lead to the 14 day ban. If you don't want to, that's completely fine, but just know that really no one will believe your claim that he was banned for nothing.

If your friend wants, he can try and appeal the punishment by sending in a support ticket and talking with support that way. Although they are quite rare, mistakes can happen, and I'm fairly certain that Riot would be more than willing to overturn the ban if it was indeed not warranted

Something to keep in mind, too, is that while you may believe what your friend said may have been acceptable, that doesn't mean that the majority of the community will find it acceptable.

Your friend got a 10-game and 25-game chat restriction before the 14-day ban. Those are signs it's not nothing, considering false reports are thrown out.
