Disrespectful and Toxic Community Members and How to Purge Them

Riot. I'm done. I'm tired. The community that you've fostered has grown stagnant, has festered and mutated into a hideous beast that I'm disgusted and ashamed to be a part of because of how they treat each other.

I'm making this post immediately after finishing a ranked game. And those of you that have visited the page can probably see just how horrendously this match went. Why did it go so badly? Why am I so upset that I'm posting my grievances about the community here when I've never done it before?

The Blitzcrank. And the Brand, but mostly the Blitzcrank.

Soon after the match started, not even at level 2 yet, the bot lane got into a fight. Blitzcrank got hooked and killed, followed by Jhin. He called Jhin an idiot for not using his heal... and left the bot lane. He started roaming around, mostly staying in the mid lane, and left Jhin to die, something I had to make up for as the jungler, only to get killed.

My mood was immediately soured, as was the mood of everyone on the team, and as one's mood is wont to do, this adversely effected our gameplay. A long and grueling match that we knew we were going to lose ensued, and try as we might, we couldn't surrender. Because Blitzcrank kept saying no on the surrender vote. Naturally, I called for him to be reported, in defense of Jhin for this severely disrespectful and infuriating behavior, and two things happened. One, the Blitzcrank spent the rest of the match taunting me. Two, the enemy Brand joined him. Repeatedly. In fact, although I have no clue if they actually did, they both agreed to report ME. For trying to be a decent human being and defend someone from the venom that another player was spewing.

I played abysmally because I let my rage get the better of me. Riot, I'm sorry to say this, but after years of enduring this... I'm about done. I've waited all this time for you to step up your anti-toxicity measures and you just don't. In fact, since I've joined the game, it's only gotten worse and worse. You need to change things. And you need to do it fast. Because I can't keep playing this game with so many venom-spewing assholes. I want to love this game. But I can't because I absolutely despise the people that play it. You need to start reviewing individual reports more thoroughly, handing out harsher and harsher punishments for people that show more and more blatant disrespect, perhaps even banning someone that shows the worst conduct imagineable. It may have been only one match for them.... but that one match is enough to completely ruin someone else's day like this one did mine. Please, Riot. Take a more active role in fixing your community. In teaching people not to treat eachother like garbage and instead learn to have fun with this game together. Because if you don't, I can't be a part of this anymore.

Does the League community have toxic fuckos? Yes. Absolutely. 100%. Is the League community majority these players? Nope.

Yes, there's toxic people, but that's every game. There's not a single game out there that has 0 toxic people in it, that's a fact of life. And don't give me that whole "But I see a toxic troll every other game!". There's 9 other people besides yourself every game, why are you acting like 1 of them being toxic makes the entire community toxic? I guarantee that you've played with more non toxic players in your entire league life span than toxic ones, but it doesn't seem that way because you don't REMEMBER the non toxic experiences.

The fact that my post showing how weak the "ban" system is, is getting downvotes explains everything.
