Some guy on my friendlist sent me this message : System message: Due to the decision of the Player Behavior & Justice, your account has been permanently banned. You will be logged out after this game.

I knew this was some sort of joke because I don't talk in game, and if i do i certainly don't flame. But i was extremely tilted the rest of the game??

What he did was message me hi and then sent that. It created a bunch of space in the chat filter (i could see the old chat by hitting z) but it cleared all the messages from normal view to make it look like the system did something.

This shouldn't be allowed as while i thought it was bs it scared the hell out of me

That behavior is not allowed. It counts as impersonating a Rioter.

Submit a ticket to Riot Support here: http://support.riotgames.com/

And provide the name of the user in question. They will investigate and likely ban that player.

Remove the offending friends and the problem is solved. Or just don't friend everyone who had a positive KDA after your game...

The only way they could block that from being used is to filter out each of those words and thus no one would ever be able to say thing like "to" "the" "of" ect. So it won't work.

HAVE FUN Starting a message with “/me” adds your summoner name to the front of the message and makes it look like a notification rather than a chat message. Use it to talk about yourself in the third person in pre-game lobbies, Clubs chat, and direct conversations.

The prank is of their own making for putting it out there for anyone to experiment... I'd blame Rito for this plague...
