Especially when you're playing a low mobility ADC. That 1/11/3 game was me giving up on playing safe and trying to use my front line. I was so tired of sitting back and doing nothing.

The presence of ADC is NOT mandatory to the game, and if the rest of the team does not need one, you should consider picking otherwise. Mages and Bruisers, especially those that are strong early game, tend to stomp regular ADC lanes.
KoKoboto1 votesHah hah I'd say that I know the adc not mandatory thing better than anyone else. I only play Veigar bot and bring it out when I get teams of master yis/yasuos/tryndameres, etc.
The thing is, it's actually depressing trying to play an ADC bot when you have teams that don't peel. Really boring, frustrating and depressing.
Also it's sometimes hard to know when you can and cannot play an adc bot, like say you're first pick or something and no one does the pick intent.

I never said that I did not care about winning. I am saying that winning is not the main point of this thread. This thread is about how it is depressing to play with teammates that do not protect you. This is player behavior not gameplay. Depressive behavior in reaction to having no protection is what I am discussing.

That is not what "picking for your team" means. "Picking for your team" requires looking at what champions your team is playing. ONLY THEN, do you attempt synergy.
Examples: jungler picks amumu, so you pick miss fortune. Your team has no tanks, so you pick very safe.
This is where the open mindedness comes in. Willingness to change your pick according to the teams needs or wants. You are doing the exact opposite.

Ouroboros8Fate1 votesRofl... if only everyone had that mindset the game wouldn't be so toxic. People want to always play hard carry/damage champions. Like Yasuo, Yi, Kayn, Zed, Evelyn. Nobody wants to play a tank or non damage champion. They want to be greedy and the "anime hero" of the game. Especially at low elo. I notice more games where people go for kills and not objectives. I love playing Leona but normally avoid playing her in solo queue because i'm normally left as a solo front line against 2-3 tanks. And i get chain cc'd and my team gets wiped.
