You would understand this feeling better if you ever served as a game servers admin. Having done such for years on a voluntary basis, I personally prefer to see rules upheld. When I originally joined the league, I hoped that upon reaching level 30. I myself could join the fabled Tribunal. However the tribunal was effectively shutdown before I could even do anything. Now I simply take my 15-30 seconds per game to write up concise reports on people who clearly violated the summoners code. It's not so much that I care (and I do mind you). I simply feel like I am helping, even if it is a very small gesture. The thought that I reported someone who may eventually get banned is a satisfying feeling. Keeps me motivated on playing this game even more.

I can understand the justice you feel your doing. But if we were to be honest here. like trully honest. You are putting your faith in an automated system. I'm not here to argue the system. I think it does it's job to an extent. Mostly, they punish everything that's not even flaming. It just punishes people that argue too much in the game. If 2 players have a civil argument and they talk all game long and somebody reports them. It's a high chance that they will get punished.
When dealing with people, it's best to have a person look into this cases, instead of an automated system. This is my opinion.
To be honest that text you can write when you report someone. I hardly think anybody reads them. It's just there to help people vent.
For example, i had a game in which i played nasus. I was fed, my team was feeding. I told them what to do and go mid and let me push bot. And if they come for me, to do baron. First time, they get caught and die- i had to waste TP to stop baron. Second time, i got caught but they didn;t do baron. Third time my team finnaly did baron. This whole game someone was flaming me.
After the game i reported that person. And i said in that text. "She doesn;t know GATES":)))=))
Regarding reporting and stuff. I do report others that bothers-very rarely i use this feature and mostly i use it on my losing games- and as a way to vent. But, I don't care man.. if the guys gets punished or not it's w/e for me...
We all had bad games where we said something we didn;t intended to say, or games where we fed like hell. Everybody has them. Do i feel like i'm doing the comunity a favor, if i report and possible ban a player? Hell no.. The comunity is not devided into flamers and civil guys:)..it's really not..Everybody can be both:).
