what replay software is allowed?

i know some "replay" software actually has things built in that are against the rules and i don't wanna get banned

replay.gg is good and another one is overwolf and it lets you pop up a box in game so you can see what happened before your death immediatley after dying

does overwolf record full game replays too? never used it.

Replay.gg is one that won't get you banned. I use it on occasion to check my matches on occasion.

RIOT didn't make it but the only thing it does is record the game on the Replay.gg servers and then use the in game Spectator mode to "Replay" the game after you put the replay code into your command prompt while you have the client open. And it doesn't give you any real advantage over the other team.

Replays do not interfere with the in-game experience, and thus replay clients are fine as long as they contain no other functions that break the ToS. As of posting this, I'm not away of a replay client that actually has any other functionality to it, so any of the popular ones should be okay to run. Basically, just make sure the only thing it does while you're playing your game is record the replay.
