Naive teammates say the best things
It's really hilarious having teammates lecture you about your build on a champion you play regularly and they rarely if ever play. You go anything other than the most meta build and it's "you're building wrong" or "wtf is that item @#a7*2 is building lol".
Like
(finish tiamat into)
or lifesteal item to finish it off is probably the most meta build on
right now.
You do anything different and you're either inept or a troll apparently. Somebody send these people to talk to Huni lol.
renekton. Literally doesn't matter if I'm 1/10/4 (pretty much never happens) or 10/2/8... I'll have naive teammates flame me and team chat to each other (so I can read their comments or have they directly type to me) about my lack of mental sanity for building bork on renekton.
Or the other week. I am camped by sej jungle and flash ulted or flash q'd multiple times in lane. I have a fiora with ignite to deal with too. And I need to build tankier than normal due to having no frontline champs besides myself on the team. Despite getting focused real hard in lane, I am up in cs, I beat the crap out of fiora 1v1, and am staying even in a 1v2 lane while my jg makes plays across the rest of map. And I have some midlaner tell me I'm building wrong because I didn't rush tiamat into cleaver into essence reaver. Thanks man... I totally never knew that was a good build... since anyone can google renekton build and find that. And obviously I have no clue what I'm doing... going even vs ignite fiora and a sej by myself in lane.
Why are people so naive? Obviously there's some stuff that is clearly troll (like a witt's end renekton), but other stuff isn't. Such as an adc building a zeal item first instead of
. Sure it's not the meta build path... but it isn't completely troll. And if it's working for them... just keep your mouth shut and worry about your own performance.
