Option to or outright auto-mute all chat? (Ik about muting obvi.)

Before I get started yes I do obviously know that muting is a thing, and I use it just about every time that I start a game. My reason for posting this is obvious, and this is the report that I send to the tribunal on about 3 players who verbally harrassed my team for the majority of the game: "Verbally harassing all constant griefing and passive aggressive speech, outright poor sportsmanship in all chat, spammed phrases like ez and rekt for the Entire duration of the game. Sadly, the majority of their team was probably the most toxic team I've fought in years. Players like them give a bad rep to the league community and are a fine example of why all chat should be disabled. Please punish these players for ruining the game for both myself and my own team with their constant harrass."

After my first kill my last game, the lux in all chat told me that I was "good" and I said thank you in response. Pretty much after that just about every member of her team would gank me whenever I came to lane. I didnt flame, rage, or even respond in game, but rather asked my team to stay near to counter gank which they generally didnt do until about 10 minutes in. It was pretty obvious that the lux was overwhelmed by me (I've done lux > yasuo a million times i've practically got the lane memorized) so I was expecting to get camped somewhat. Anyways, from about 5 minutes onward to the last 20, their team was verbally aggressive and had verryyyy poor sportsmanship. Now normally, I would just mute them at the start of the game, but on the occasion that I didnt i ran into this mess of children. They were completely unprovoked, most of my team communicated through pings alone.

The game ended up being pretty unpleasant with enemy bot fed and toxic, mid fed and toxic from my 10 or so 4 man ganks, and top mutual but just as toxic. 'I would have muted them but I wanted to get more things to report them on.'

Why isnt there an option to disable/automute all chat? Muting each individual champion is a pain and sometimes people will forget to do so and run into a toxic team. I actually dont play the game but i believe that is one of the few things I actually think Riot could use from Heroes of the Storm. It actually does work after all, their commmunity is one of the few mobas that is not stereotyped with a toxic community. Why? Because cross team chat is disabled, so there is no dealing with or having to ignore or mute the enemy team.

I think that this would be a good option because there are players like myself that auto mute the enemy chat at the start of almost every game and regret it when we do not. Not all of us enjoy watching people argue, flame, salt, grief, or be toxic in all chat every few games. I think this would be a considerate option to the game for players who just want to play and enjoy the game without seeing the poor sortsmanship of some of the players. I think that League has some really fine members of the community that I would sit down and drink a beer with too be honest. But I really do believe that there should be some sort of option is the settings to disable or auto mute all chat.

TL;DR, there should be some sort of option is the settings to disable or auto mute all chat. It would reduce the amount of cross team flamers, ragers, poor sports, and toxic players because cross ommunication would be optional WITHOUT having to mute each player every single game.

These are just my thoughts. My intention with this post is not to complain, but just to get this option out there for those of us who would appreciate it.

This already is an option. If I remember correctly all chat being disabled is even the default.

There is an option in the menu in game. Go to Interface and scroll down you'll see the option to "Disable All Chat (Matched Games)" and trust me your life will be much better off for doing it.

Disabling All chat disables chat with the opposing team. If you want to turn everything off, use the chat command /mute all.

Or you can hit tab and click on the chat bubbles next to each player's name.
