Don't let the enemy team manipulate you

I just got through a match that I won but I hated playing in.

I am Silver 3 but I feel this problem could apply to all ranks. My support was spamming abilities on the minion wave and started saying I was missing CS even though she was "wasting" all her mana to help me in all chat. She barely hit the enemy champs. The enemy support jumped at this and played the sympathetic soul card and apologized to my support for being with a bad Marksman. After that my support played more and more passively until she was basically doing nothing in lane cause she did not trust me to follow up.

A few details I need to add. I was playing Jinx against an Ezreal. I struggle with poke comps in lane so I looked up a build to help with it and found one "Lethality Jinx". Its strange and it took me awhile to get the hang of it since I had never played her that way before. But it really helped me against Poke comps in lane. I played probably 6-8 normal matches and now 2 ranked with the build. It is can be VERY powerful if I can keep it from falling behind but it is limited if I do fall behind.

Anyway the obvious tilt manipulation by the enemy support was so blatant but my support fell for it SO hard. How do you deal with something like that?

I don't think that would ever work unless the ADC was in fact playing poorly. Any competent or regular support player would not just stop playing because of something the enemy support said. He was probably already upset at the way you were playing. Nothing you can really do about that.

Stop building Lethality on Jinx so supports would stop mistaking you for a noob.
