If you get autofilled I feel for you. I do. It sucks. But that does not give you an excuse to be a dick. If you get autofilled into support then SUPPORT. Don't play any champ you feel like and screw over your ADC. You don't have to be the best at all the roles but at least know HOW to do them. Otherwise its just going to be a bad game for your team and yourself.
Any champ can support. Some are better at it than others, but just because it doesn't fit your desired support does not mean they're prohibited from playing it.
I think a lot of time what happens is people are getting filled into roles they don't know how to play. There really should be some kind of gate in front of ranked where you don't get to queue up until you've played a certain number of games each role.
Quite honestly I'd take the longer queue times if it meant autofill went away. It's always an annoyance, and if you get filled into a role you don't like (or even aren't that good at), it's making the team less likely to win. Give me 20 minute queues where every player got the role they picked vs sub minute queues where my jungler doesn't want to jungle.
Autofill means Riot hasn't developed its game properly.
Autofill almost ALWAYS means support. That's because playing support is awful. Mostly because ADCs are awful people. If support roles were rewarded properly, or more fun, or more than just soak damage for your raging adc that isn't getting enough ganks from the jungler, maybe people would want to play it more often.
Remove autofill completely and let queue times last longer. Its no problem now since they only want games lasting 14 minutes with new runes anyway.
NOW.. this is mainly pointed towards Ranked, because in norms.. It happens, you'll meet someone who just casually plays and really only likes one role. That really doesn't excuse them from being a dick so the following can still be accepted as a response to this anyways..

MMR or not.. You have to at least assume once in your LoL career you have a possibility of playing a role you don't like as much as any other role.
So what?? Everyone goes through this.. Why are you special? Stop whining about it and practice the role. I still don't think I can trust myself as an ADC in a team. And I don't like playing the role.. BUT.. I'll still play my hardest.

I just hate being autofilled in ranked... Like, I can play ANY lane BUT jungle..... Then I get autofilled jungle in ranked, obviously suck ass, then get harassed by my team for "trolling". Oh boy.
I play whatever I want when I get autofilled. I go to the lane I got but dont expect me or anyone to give a damn about your feelings. If Riot decided I cant have fun by playing a role I enjoy, then Im damn well gonna find fun in another way. 
support for example is fun and it works pretty well, still crybaby adc's bitch and moan left and right for not picking traditional supports.
Why should I care about autofill? If I am not intentionally throwing the game I can play whatever I want. This is MY TIME and will do whatever I want. If I dont have fun why am I playing at all?
The very idea of forcing 2 strangers in the same lane is retarded. If there is no synergy its just tilting for everyone in the team and costs the game. Dynamic que did it right before the forced autofilling. You had to wait a bit more for games(1 minutes) and got your role you actually were good at and enjoyed the most. Now you find games faster but so many people dodge the game that you have to wait more then before. Once again riot screwed up.
People like you who expect a random autofilled person to be a slave to your "META" is just as bad as those people who pick champs just to troll and intentionally feed.

To be honest it totally depends on the MMR you're in. I'd assume at some point you're going to find players who don't support generally don't know how or what to do and when to do it and would rather try to be the 'carry' because they want to be the reason for winning. Going back to our discussion before, there is a lack of knowledge between what is a viable support and what really is just a 'trolling' player - as you know, everything is possible and some configurations work better than others. Was I mad today when I had a Signed support, no though I tried to recommend he not do so against Sona, but I am not going to get all in his face when the lane itself fails because it wasn't the best matchup for the lane. Late game I was thankful he went signed because everyone ended up chasing him nonstop and we won - so I think this comes as no surprise, but knowing the game and being open to things really helps. I have had my fill of playing roles I don't want to for the years and years that pick order was dependent on ELO and there were no assigned roles. Since then Riot fixed the problem and THEN added in autofill that makes me rather just not play the game. As someone else said here, I'd rather sit in queue for 15 minutes and watch youtube videos or something and get the role I want and play with 4 people who got the role they wanted than a fast queue where that doesn't always happen. The thing that is so infuriating is that we HAD this for one season and they took it away (s5?). Honestly my favorite queue so far was back when they did teamfill normals or whatever it was. When they was an option that was always what I played when not grinding ranked. Everyone picks their champ and position and it assigned you other people playing different positions and you could turn down people playing troll shit. If I want to not queue for support and sit and wait for 10+ minutes that's my choice, and I'd gladly make it many times over.
Well sometimes we... er... THEY just enjoy trolling and the auto fill isn't really the problem.
OP really ... you missing a very big point with your first post the problem is if you don't like how random people play any given role (even your determination of a minimum standard) as you stated ( not the best) than its up to you to leave solo que and form your own team with people that play in a way you agree with ...not the other way around
