What if honor capsules also awarded small amounts of orange essence?

You'd still need to unlock the shards, but it would be a healthy way of promoting non-toxic play while offering some relief after the harsh orange essence nerfs

I haven't gotten a skin through a chest/capsule since the rework. Just champ shards I either own or don't care to own. Is it still a thing to get skins in chests? Could we get some sort of conversion option otherwise like 1000 be can be exchanged for 400oe?

I totally agree! I rarely get skins in chest and chapsules - but when i do, they always cost more than i can afford in Orange essence. I think that you should be able to get that. Yasuo

The next event actually seems to have a lot of cosmetic loot options - for Lunar Revel that is.

Revel Golden Coin: Used to craft Golden Lunar Revel Chromas Revel Token: Granted for completing Lunar Revel missions. Craft into exclusive rewards during the event. Tokens expire from inventory on March 12, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Revel Skin Shard: Contains a skin shard for a random Revel skin. Does not include Lunar Empress Lux, Lunar Guardian Nasus, or Lunar Guardian Warwick

I'm gonna assume those 3 items are obtainable through the event.

Only one of those I want is the Vi and the nasus one (going to have to buy it). garens would be nice too, but i don't play him. I hope to hell I don't get that fugly Azir one.

True, but Ive already got like 6k and keep getting Vayne dragon slayer skins....What I wouldn't give for Spirit Guard Udyr. Udyrs base skin and all his others are so bad I can stand to play him because it gives me ocular cancer to look at the non Spirit Guard skins. I am no trick2g, but I know how to Godyr...but...his base is so damn ugly...that I can't stand to play him [cass-cry]

Not Bought an ultimate skin since Sona's and regretted it because they have done nothing but nerf her continuously, Cant take her mid anymore.... [sg-shisa]

I wish I had that much haha. I have a ton of shards Im sitting on to transform, just waiting for the new season to get those EZ PZ S chests for more shards.

Agreed about Sona, I have the DJ skin too, easily one of the best skins in the game. It was nice that she had like 2-3 weeks of being super powerful this preseason..but now she's back to getting destroyed by any competent bot lane enemy.

I got pulse fire Ezreal twice. Disenchanted twice. i did have more at one time, like almost 8 k, but got a few decent skins, and then disenchanted the rest I was sitting on before Riot devalued the hell out of them.

I always played her mid, can't stand support. I always get those passive monkey marksmen that just want to passively farm and do nothing else when I support.

Riot said and promised many things. E.g. More skin shards dropping from hextech chests. I got only one skin shard in last 4 months. Mostly I was getting 90 champion shards BE. Honor capsules were giving actual skin shards before + key fragments. Now they just put a shit static drop of 90 Be champ shards and few key fragments as well as Medival twitch (wow guess why twitch is not getting nerfed. so people wont complain and use that skin and champ) and grey ww. Also honor capsules are also additional way to screw key fragment drops. Before honor system you would get 4 chests per month and 12 key fragments. After you had to get honor capsule to be able to open all 4 per month and even with honor capsule key fragments sometimes it wasnt enough anyway. You have to buy key fragments from even shops for tokens if you want to open chests. Plus riot intentionally added emotes and icons to chests so you will have even lower chances to drop skin shard. During the event they promise increased drop rate of gemstones skins, but this is another lie. I can tell you straight away drop isnt increased. It is just another way to make people pay money because drop is higher so people will invest more.

I like the new honor capsule rewards for the most part, I don't think extra OE is needed but would definitely be a nice little treat instead of BE

Orange Essence is actually useful, and is basically RP <but not as stronk> I wouldn't hold my breath, tho tbh it would make them feel more rewarding, seeing as I already have every champion so this 300k blue essence is completely worthless
