Wow downvotes and boards...

I'm really getting fed up with people just spam downvoting stuff for no reason. If people don't leave a post and feedback on why they dislike something, they should really be banned from downvoting it. Let me give examples and explain why.

1. A few days ago, I see people post some vids of their games. They give a few comments on the vid, ask for feedback from boards, and generally go untouched. A few comments by boards, and maybe a few upvoted or no upvote/downvote. I post a vid and get spam downvoted, 1 comment of a person who liked it, and nothing. How many actually good things get lost to jerks who just read a title or spam downvote for no reason - never to be seen by the rest of the community because it's on page 100 of that board?

2. I post a breakdown of a boosting strat I ran into just today. I give an accurate assessment of it's purpose and strengths as well as ways to best survive and/or counter it. 2 min later, spam downvoting, no comments. There's nothing offensive in what I said. It's not some "this is op" with no description of what/why/how post. It's informative. It's accurate. It's relevant. But some idiots decide to downvote. Like what is the point of your downvote? There is no purpose other than to be a jerk. If there were a valid complaint, then you post a comment and create DISCUSSION. People just meaninglessly downvoting out of spite or to be a jerk really need to be removed from commenting on the boards.
