Ranking up in Honor just seems to take too long :(

So I got a punishment in late last year, was a chat restriction, pushed me down to honor 0. Now I have been playing off and on since season started and have not gotten so much as a warning about toxic play. I get at least 1 honor a game, and yet over these 200 games, I have only made it through 3 checkpoints. This seems a bit ridiculous to me as I got a 10 game chat restriction for going off on someone who wouldn't stop being toxic, a year ago... Now I'm not gonna say that I haven't done some toxic crap since then because I have, but it's rare, you really have to test my patience a lot to get that side of me.

The overall point of this is that I don't understand why it is so hard to get checkpoints between level 0 and 2 when you already get punished by receiving 0 rewards, and having a lock on honor for 4 months. I've played 40 games in Honor 1 Checkpoint 0 and haven't gotten a checkpoint. This system seems super punishing for even minor offenses...

Yeah it’s fucking insane. Literally so much worse than rune pages or buying kinda new champs on a new account.

on the bright side you'll probably hit 2 by the time the season is over.

Depends on how much I can play in the next month honestly, I have to get 3 checkpoints, and not only that, Come September I wont have much time at all to play due to college 3rd year.

But the company won´t care if you have other things to do with ur social life and ur studies, they just want you to NO-LIFE on this game while playing the more honorable roles of adc or midlane and saying not a single word that doesn´t fit the SJW attitude despite people trying to test your patience.

I cannot agree with you more, i have been punished multiple times by riot for minor offenses and it would drop my honor down to 0 and it took me forever to get to honor level 1 again.

Took me 5 days to hit honor 1, less than two whole months for honor 2.

Literally just played how i normally would.

I didnt change my attitude or anything.

If youre asking about why i got banned.

I had a game where i defended someone from being 3 manned flamed, then the next game had an inter who i lost it on. The combined amount of arguing number of messages and the insults therein warranted a 10 game chat ban.
