Two diamond smurfs on other team in my lowly bronze 3 match just absolutely ruining the whole game for 5 players on my team. After the match says we have been shit on and calls us %%%gots yet this is all totally legal?

Smurfing isn't such a bad thing as long as the person smurfing isn't doing so to be a jerk to others. A few of us do so to help out the few new comers this game gets.
I assume you reported them after game? You might try sending in a ticket as well. Hate speech isn't tolerated and player support can force a chat restrict for such things.
This sadly is becoming more and more common place as things seem to be taking a turn for the worse.
Bear with the rest of us and Riot might, maybe, possibly fix things some day.
I just had a kid and his cousin tell me and everyone else in the game to 'KYS', two games in a row.
Boosting and smurfing isn't allowed. It's the simple fact riot can't actually do anything about it unless they're reported and confirmed to have another account. Only then can riot do something about it and at most all they can do is ban the smurf and main.
Like maybe ONE diamond smurf I could handle but TWO duo queuing just to crap on lowbies like me and then spewing hate speech at us is just so fucked up. I literally cannot even.
