adc attitudes towards "do nothing" supports

I feel like adc's should have to play a certain number of support matches until they realize how much their support actually does. I've started to find with the current state of some adcs snowballing as long as theyre babysat earlygame that it's gone to their head. I hear stuff like

"you did nothing in lane" "you never damaged them" "you sat under tower"

and in each instance I have at least two good things for every bad but they just dont seem to notice like if i ping them that the enemy jungle is coming bot from mid bc theyre too busy staring at minion hp bar to check minimap or how their hp is constantly topped up even though they regularly get poked due to poor positioning or how my actions are the only reason they survived long enough in that fight to get those kills to snowball. I feel like mainly they fail to realize that their kills are actually our kills.

So then it's like "I got these kills" and then "? ping" and "you did nothing" and then when i tell them later in game to do things like not try to 1v3 the enemy team in jungle when noone else is there to help and then they die it's the good ole "? ping" and "why are you doing nothing" even though im clearly bot with another laner defending a wave being pushed on an inhib turret (which is why i first pinged danger and then ping my intended path to save turret).

I swear unless i play a supp with major cc and significant damage my adc is blind to my contributions. Almost never get a thx or gj, it's even super rare to get a u2 when i say gj after a well fought fight.

Idk if it's just that adcs maybe arent as nice/considerate of people as supports are in general so it doesnt occur to them that they arent the only people winning a match or if they really are just ignorant of everything a good support does that keeps them from losing.

TLDR adc's need some manners and supports need recognition

Eh, not nice to call out an entire role. While I have had some rude adc's I have had many more positive ones.

Accidentally took scuttle while we roamed river. I said "sorry." and their response was "Don't even worry. Only doing this well thanks to you."

To be fair, it would be nice to have this for most roles in the game.

Impatient supports should be forced to play ADC to understand when it's appropriate to sit back and farm, rather than force fights. Mid laners should be forced to play top to learn how being isolated from the rest of the map feels. Top laners should play mid to understand roaming and participating in team fights. Everybody should play jungle to figure out when and where you can realistically expect ganks, and how hard it is to gank when your laners are playing too aggressively, for example. And yeah, everybody should play support to understand what being perpetually under-fed feels like.

there is no "do nothing support" as all supports you should be putting out as much pressure as possible weaving in and out of other adc's auto attack range. baiting out skill shots walking up to make them move back and miss minions sometimes if you are sitting behind your adc not putting out pressure your a useless support.
