He should definitely dodge those kind of games, it's worth dropping 3lp or whatever it is as opposed to suffering a larger loss as well as losing the MMR. Even if the Feeding mid guy wasn't actually going to feed, it's really not worth the gamble.
your friend saying what he said wont matter, making reporting in champ select is pretty pointless as well seeing how long it takes for punishments to actually be verified and work. Also depends on how good you guys are I personally would play the game and carry him and make him more mad :>
