Why are premades like this?

So i hope this is ok to do but i really had to share this.

I get into a lobby and i get bot. First thing i see is my designated support player say "You better be a good ADC". Our jungle asks to take bot and give me jungle. I decline because i wanted bot AND im just simply not a jungler--i don't like jungle, i havent played jungle in almost 2 years so that would be horrible for everyone. Upon declining im flamed with being told to kill myself, and drink bleach, etc because theyre a 4 man and im the expendable 5th wheel.

The game starts and their friend in mid goes about 2/10/2 around 20 minutes--dieing every 2 minutes or so to the enemy midlaner, their top friend goes 1/5 by then--im doing average, but im behind but i kept my CS up (Support was trying to take CS from me), and my deaths down. needless to say we're getting pretty worked on all fronts but im not doing as bad as they were flaming me for doing before the game even started. But guess whos to blame anyway? The expendable 5th wheel on a team of "toxic" (I hate throwing that word around but maybe this warrants it for the time being) friends. I muted them all, i didn't engage, i kept quiet trying to focus and do the best i can in spite of the people im playing for/with, but allah knows what else they were saying about me in their call.

We lose, i leave the end game chat, not reporting, not being salty, not talking shit, just tilted to hell and back. I mean why do premades feel the need to abuse that 1-2 person(s) thats not in their group of friends? Im always trying to defend league when i hear people saying the whole game is toxic, but when this happens... i just have to agree. I mean ive seen this thing happen to me in Dota as well but never as harshly as when it happens here. ive been playing for 4 years but sometimes this really starts to get to me. Im not thin skinned, im not a baby, im a grown ass woman, but dear lord everyone has a limit.

I mean i cant be the only one.

To be fair though, there are premades who aren't toxic as well. I agree with you that these guys were pretty bad, but at the same time I play with friends and the only time we flame is each other (cause sometimes you just are tilted by your stupid friends doing stupid things).

On the whole there are shitty people and nice people, and unfortunately if there are 15% bad people, they ruin a lot of games. I hope one day you can get nice premades and beat the opposition soundly.

I get them too... it just sorta blows. It always feels like some group of immature, self-entitled boys who subscribe GREATLY to the GIFT theory.

What's obnoxious is how common people like this are... It feels like if there was punishment for acting this way it would slow or stop, but there really isn't. Not enough of it, anyway.

The thing is, there are just as many shitty premades as there are shitty solo players. It's just how life is. It absolutely sucks when it happens, but you seemed to handle the situation pretty well.

They were assholes, but that's not restricted to just premades. It just probably feels more common since there's more than one toxic player that can occur, whereas for solo it's just the 1 solo toxic player.

I will say though, what they said is pretty easily reportable and punishable. You should have reported them after the game and typed "check pregame chat". Easily could have gotten a chat restriction, or even worse if they are chronic offenders.

Just never be afraid to report players who truly deserve it. We wont be able to weed out the super toxic players who don't want to change unless we report them.

You should have locked in tahm kench adc if you got a toxic dynamic queue.

I don't even think it is the premades. I think the silver Elo is just highly toxic in itself. I have climbed 3 accounts through silver now this season and the people are simply terrible in their treatment of others in that elo. I wonder though why they would act that way in an unranked game (it is easy to just look up your stats to see the names).

The silver elo is just filled with a bunch of mediocre players, who all think they are good at the game. They believe that they play well (or well enough) so that they can win games and that their losses are largely due to teammates holding them back.

Almost all of them want to achieve gold for the rewards, but for the most part all the players lack in certain aspects of their gameplay to achieve gold. Most of the time I would say most silver plays simply do not know how to play from behind, farm under tower, when to take objectives, and are too kill oriented.

The largest percentage of the community is silver for a reason.

Interestingly they maybe weren't a four man? They didn't log into anymore games with each other as 4 prior or after that game. Could have been a one and done group, not sure.

Either way, I just the silver elo in general is just filled with horribly toxic people. It is also filled with a bunch of players that think they are good at the game, but aren't. You can say that regarding other elos, but silver is where most players spent most of their league seasons with somewhere between 25%-35% of the community playing at a rank higher than silver.

It is unfortunate that this happened to you, the community in league is notoriously bad and it is by far the worst gaming community I have been a part of, and I thought Halo 2 was bad.
