Will we ever be able to honor opponents again?

I just won a game against a twitch player with an extremely positive attitude as well as very extensive game knowledge, not only were they a force to be reckoned with in-game but they were also THE driving force behind their team, trying desperately to pick up the mess made by their extremely negative top laner.

Why is it that we cannot honor opponents anymore? This isn't the first time i've wanted to honor an unusually sportsmanlike player. I want to show my appreciation, dammit! These people deserve recognition and encouragement! They're comparable to seeing a unicorn, or a sportsmanlike Riven main!
