I have no idea what topic you want to talk about, but for behavior stuff, if you are honestly looking for help, many will help.
If you blame others for your behavior, you will get alot of people disagreeing with you. Whether you consider that backlash is another matter.
If you want to talk about behavioral systems, unless you get your facts right, you'll get alot of backlash as well.

People each have a certain online persona they tend to follow, and for many it is either a light minded one or a disparaging one.

People seek out those who share their opinion and then form a nice little circle where anyone who doesn't agree is downvoted and passive or aggressively attacked. Any forum you go to, from "Raw Feeding Dogs" to "Religious Discussions" you'll find the same types of people vehemently arguing their point of view and taking anything other than complete agreement as an attack on their persons.
