PSA Don't Repeat in chat words others pretend to have never said.

I just recently Had someone in my new account's friendlist instant 14'd because a non-premade said the racist N word in chat then pretended to have never said it which baited my mate to say "But you just told X player he is a poor N^^^^^" Then the non-premade spammed chat with #BanBait and now I have to play alone for 14 days.

Having said that, I know this does not happen all that much because trolls usually lack the IQ to think of this, But still. Please beware of apathy-pretenders. If you see someone inchat being trigger-toxic (as i like to call people who are toxic with 14day/insta-permanent triggerwords) just don't even try talking to them. Mute, if you did not already, and report after the game.

I know that this PSA is a little silly, But I rather be safe than Sorry.

Peace everyone.

Why would your friend bring what someone else said into allchat?

If he was petitioning for reports or just broadcasting that someone did something against the rules: that's flagged as negative by the IFS. You shouldn't do that.

If someone does something that you think is worth reporting, then you should report them yourself.

TANTRAM help this poor n not everyone has no life and spends their days reading boards being wrong about how reports work is aware of how the flagging system works. And this is from a new account too, so he's likely to be pre-30 or something

It should seriously be made more clear from the get go, not after reading rioter comments, blogs and Reddit.

not to be rude, but you got 14 days to delete your "friend". he seems pretty stupid.

Thank you " I know that this PSA is a little silly, But I rather be safe than Sorry" "just don't even try talking to them. Mute, if you did not already, and report after the game"

It actually makes me content that you understand, to know you should use the mute button, and it is always better to be safe than sorry. Good judgement call. With that mindset you will avoid getting a perma just like all these other exhibits on this board section lol.

Its rare but, common sense is not so common anymore, if more than half of the people of the people with perma bans at the moment, actually thought exactly like you they would be in a better situation.

Good luck and keep being smart*[vlad-salute]*

Send in a support ticket to riot and see if theyll change it to a chat restriction instead due to the circumstances. No guarantee, but you know. The system doesnt differentiate between uses, but a rioter might remove the escalated punishment given context and issue the proper punishment with a warning instead.

Riot want to bring in new players, but IFS keeps banning them for misunderstandings like this. I think I was just 14'd because I replied back to someone telling me to kys, "why would you say kys to some just becuase you died?" After reading forums and support articles, there's no way they'll reverse the punishment. Very silly system imo. Will likely quit playing this game. I've never been banned from a game in such a manner. I wasn't even the one being verbally abusive.

Saying trolls lack IQ to think of this implies that someone who thinks of it has high IQ.

Your mistake is in assuming that someone who does that sort of thing is intelligent. They aren't. They're just immature idiots looking for laughs in all the wrong places.

I'm sorry your friend got banned, that bites. Have your friend/premade submit a support ticket. Riot might close the case in their favor.
