Is the "no rewards if you're banned 3 months before the season ends" rule fair?

i havent been punished once all season. i had 1 bad week last week and got a chat restrict for 10 games into a somewhat weird 2 week suspension. i was fine with this as i deserved it.

i didnt threaten anyone or tell anyone to kill himself or anything stupid like that.

yea i was irritated and said "fucking awful play" or some passive aggressive shit but yea.. im ok with the 2 week ban.

however im not ok with the season rewards not being given to me.

a whole year of work gone because i was punished once 3 weeks before the season ends.

please atleast look into this and check if im being honest with how i havent been punished all season long.

The point of the 3 months is so that Riot has a reasonable amount of time to see that you've improved your behavior. You can still post while your main account is under that ban, boards bans are separate.

the acc im talking about was banned on the forums awhile ago since i was always fucking around and insulting people. my behavior was good all season long. i just had a bad week in life and in the game and vented in game. that 10 chat restriction 5 days ago was the first punishment that entire season or rather a huge number of months.. thats improvement. not 3 weeks before they tell me im toxic and dont desevre the rewards.

Not really as you are essentially being punished twice, but at least there is a precedent for it, unlike last year.

You're still eligible as long as you finish those 10 games.

no . if i got banned for 2 weeks after august 7 i dont get rewards. its pretty stupid they didnt factor in people being non-toxic all season long but then fucking up and getting banned during the last month.

thats whats really weird. i got 10 chat restrict first time 5 days ago. had some bad games barely typed. the last game i played i had a boosted support who i didnt insult once. the only angry thing i said was "now that you have flash can you PLEASE fucking combo them" (he was alistar)

i didnt say anything else that was mean that entire game.

so why exactly did i then get banned 20 minutes later is beyond me.

i didnt get an email for both the restriction and the 2 week ban. liek id be satisfied if i could atleast see my chat logs to SEE if its on me and thats why i was banned. i sent in a ticket 8 hours ago and waiting for them to reply.

If you didn't get a reform card with chat logs in your client, it either was a manual ban or it wasn't for chat offenses. The Instant Feedback System bans will give you at least enough info to determine what it was for as long as you see the card in-client.

i didnt get one eitherfor the 10 chat restrict. my friend didnt get one for his chat restrict awhile ago as well.

pretty sure its just bugged.

No one cares how long you've been good, nor does it matter. If you fuck up, that's entirely your own fault and problem.

Or do you propose that the current legal system be changed? So that if you've been a legal and morally upright citizen for years, and then make a bad decision and decide to drink and drive, and as a result get caught... you're just patted on the back and told it's okay? Since you've been doing good till then?

actually in court if you're been an upstanding citizen and get a dui or get arrested for something like getting into a fight, they decrease jail time as well as look for less harsher punishments. maybe rather than try to be a cocky little shit, you can actually make a point that doesnt scream "im not toxic haha you deserve your ban IDIOT" theres a reason why i hate the living fuck out of your guts and its because you're a spineless internet troll who reports comments when he knwos he cant respond in anyway that makes sense.

Honestly it's not because if you get banned once, and you get banned early in the year, you're lucky.

If your single ban happens to be late in the year you're out of luck.

The 2 people might have done the same thing, it's just timing.

I feel neither of them deserve the award, but Riot has explicitly stated the precedent for a case like this. His fault for not listening or behaving properly, ESPECIALLY towards the end of the season where it matters most.

It is fair and it should apply to you. Riot has clearly stated the punishments for getting a ban close to end of season will result in removal of the PRIVILEGE of seasonal rewards. If you decide to ignore that and be toxic anyways, or worse yet, understand that and be toxic anyways, you deserved it.

I just don't understand why oh think you are above the rules (as in the rules shouldn't apply to you) you clearly broke the rules and understand you should be punished.it sadly had to happen near the end of the season and means you are not eliable for the rewards. Butby that logic you are telling people they could be "clean" all throughout the season, and once it hits the end of the season can break the rules. That makes no sense!

I honestly don't like the whole punishment this season. I think it'd be fair if they make an appeal system for the players who've never been banned before, just that one time, or something similar. I hope they consider something like that. For a player to play this game for years, earn rewards and for the most part be a good person in game to end up losing a whole seasons worth of rewards because of a bad week, bad game, etc seems meaningless. Also they haven't done this in prior seasons, there have been MANY toxic players in the past who've earned rewards. There was something like this last season, I don't quite remember what it was.

the chat restriction thing as well as the ban over 7 days was active last season too i believe.

They initially tried to take rewards from anyone who had been chat restricted for any period of time during any point of the season. It was changed so that only if you were banned at any point within the last 3 months you were ineligible. Chat restricted players could get them as long as they finished their chat restriction.
