The system isn't doing enough to identify an AFK

AFKs can just sit in base and just move once in a while to avoid the leaverbuster.

I've had more than 5 AFKs in the past 2 days in my games and only 1 of them showed up with the red AFK buster mark after the game is over.

All walking around in base does is avoid get automatically disconnected. However, Leaverbuster is capable of marking players as AFK even if they don't physically disconnect from the game, and if they do it frequently enough, they do get punished. I don't know exactly what conditions it does look at, but I do know that it can detect players that are simply sitting/walking around in base.

That is why there is a report function...

The Leaverbuster does tag you as AFK if you are just sitting in the base and moving around.

I got a leaver buster warning for doing that when I first came back to LoL in Season 5, moved every 5 seconds or so. I didn't know you couldn't afk anymore.

Not all afkers are flagged with a red name to make it more difficult to pin down what the afk detection can and what it can't do.
