6 years playing, easier to get banned?

Just curious, the longer you play, obviously the more you may or may not get reported for having a "Bad Game" once in a while, possibly getting a little verbal. But can Riot confirm that the older accounts on league are seeing less and less play because those said summoners are afraid of getting their accounts banned due to being around longer?

The vast majority of players will never see any part of a punishment system. The length you have been playing in no way affects your risk of being punished. The system doesn't just count to a magic number of reports and punish someone. Each report is individually inspected for accuracy by the machine learning systems. The last metric I saw for false positive rate was somewhere in the area of 1 in 6000 (as stated by Lyte here http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/player-behavior/new-player-reform-system-heads-testing )

If you think you were unjustly banned, you should post your reform card here.

There is a very easy way to never be punished. Just don't say anything offensive, and don't troll.

Been here since Season 1, played over 4k games, yet to see any warning of any kind. Have santa baron icon and the newer handshake one. ..and I curse a pretty good amount. Just don't be an asshole and/or afk/troll/buy 5 zeals and mobi boots and you're good..

After six years, one should know better what gets one punished and what does not and knows how to avoid it.

You know, it almost sounds like Riot is taking all the information obtained from the Tribunal and using it to make a new automated report system that replaces the Tribunal and eliminates it's need.

Playing games without being reported reduces your risk of punishment. To make it simple, you have a much higher chance of being punished for being toxic in 10/10 games than you are 10/100 games in the same amount of time. That's why toxic people that got punished for 10/10 games come back and do it again and get punished immediately because all they did was make it 11/11.

Easier no. Faster yes. Riot has new tools to track and detect toxic behavior.

I've been playing for 4 years now, give or take. I have terrible games all the time I rage plenty and I do my fun games where I do trolly builds and off meta picks. I've never once seen a single chat restriction nor a suspension. I live in the bronze leagues which is already hell enough but there is something simple to stop the rage and make it through your games. "Turn off all chat". "Mute players whom you find offensive and discouraging". It is very simple and saves you a ton of headache. 4 years as a league player and not worried about a ban because I don't let the toxic players play their game.

IT's number of reports AND number of games played. So playing a lot longer may mean you get more reports, but it's not like the system just goes "Welp, he got 15 reports total. Time to ban." It looks to see how many reports you get in a time frame. 15 reports out of 1000 games is very different from 15 reports in 10 games.

Ive had many games on my old account being paired with quad ques and being chain reported. Even an instance where I was reported by the same quad que team twice in a row simply because they could.. Now when I talked to Riot Mogey on the issue he said not to worry about it and that measures would be taken to ensure that the instance provided wouldnt lead to any measures against the account, however after not playing the account for a week and coming back to it I saw 3 things

  1. Your recent behavior was not acceptable
  2. Your continued behaviors is not acceptable
  3. Get rekt you're banned until 2166

All within the same login, when I asked what was up, I got some reply about me being too defensive in chat towards my GF.

Not for anything, but we've all seen the crap that gets posted around here and within games from the misogynistic assholes that attack women for simply trying the game, but after that I lost it within personal Emails. All I got were "Its unfortunate, but GL in the future - Lighting your way Riot Mogey" So honestly I dont know how to feel about it.

I could have just been swept under a rug for all i know after seeing what these people posted... "Kill yourself - get back in the kitchen" everything along these lines and I defended people against that, yet Im banned. After 6 years of playing I hadn't ever gotten a warning... Just back to back "Hi how are you, go away, trololol" =/

I started in Season 1. I've never had any behavior restrictions. If I'm not playing as much as I used to, it's simply because of RL issues: broken computer screen, increase in lag spike, lack of time, etc.
