Having Difficulties breaking A+ on Skarner

I can't seem to get S rank on him for some reason. I randomly picked up Jarvan for giggled one game and went full AD performed rather sub par, and managed S-.... So Im just wondering what it is that Im missing with Skarner.

Is there some prerequisite that within his gameplay Im missing out on in game? Objectives Im not getting? Good games usually have me controlling all my mini game objectives rather frequently, many solo dragons, rift heralds with Top, usually out CSing enemy junglers and for the most part going 2 and 3 : 1 ratios for kills with just as many assists with my team.

And I know it all depends on the Champion, but just what am I missing? =/ Feedback?

Thanks everyone.

I did a game earlier today that I honestly thought would have been it, I warded and sweeped like crazy, had great CS over my opponent jungler, and secured almost every objective I was aware of.

8/3/13 112 CS 13k gold 33 minute game I assisted in killing 8 towers, 5 solo solod 1 Dragon and assisted my team in stealing another 1 and we got Baron once

But alas, still got an A+ :( most of my team mates did extremely well to boot and 3 of them got S ranks. I suppose Ill just have to roll the dice a little more and see how things land.

Hey guys, finally found this topic. I have trouble getting S on skarner too. Today I had 7/0/12 and 112 cs after 27 Minuts, so i thougth this would finally be S...well I got A+. So, whats up? why is this so hard? I dont think a game can go much better. compared to average skarner games, this i above... We didnt get a single turret in this game (which is kinda funny, cause our enemys surrenderd) but is this the point? I dont hink many skarner jungler destroy turrets, since skarner does not do that much damage. Any Ideas?

Is there anyone who allready got S with Skarner? How?

Had S 2 times in a row now, in these games i didn't let a single objective (apart from a few turrets) go to the enemy, these were my games: 17/4/16 - 138cs - 19k gold (40 min game) and 10/2/13 - 144cs - 15.7k (37 min game)

You need good CS. Which is kind of bullshit for junglers. I main Shaco and I'll probably never get S with him since farming the jungle is something you just dont do unless you're behind on him.

I can't recall the specific games, but I was able to get two S' on Skarner (getting me to mastery level 6), but beyond that I was able to get an S- once. It's weird because I can do really well, perfect KDA, good farm, objective control etc, but if the game is relatively short, I'll get anywhere between A- and A+. Noticed the same problem with Sion jungle, who I still can't get an S on no matter the score.

Make sure you're warding / destroying wards if you sweep. Supplying vision and denying vision are parts of your grade. Objectives are super important too so if you can assist in destroying turrets and killing drake/Baron those will help your score. KDA is another factor along with participation. You can have a good positive KDA but if you merely got the last hit in those team fights your score could be lower. Keep your farm up as well. And remember that you are compared to every other person that has played that champion in that role.

I had a real hard time getting an S on Zac. The game that finally did it I was 9-1-11 (~60% kill participation) 28 minute game. placed roughly 1 ward every 3.5 minutes. Personally got the killing blow on 2 dragons, 1 baron Personally got the killing hit on 1 turret Had 103 Farm (tied for most gold on team)
