What is up with Warwicks Q?

I can't seem to get it to function properly. It's so clunky and broken =/ Press and Hold it to Jump behind your target. Yet even in Melee range it doesnt work 3/4 of the time and you just stutter there like some headless chicken. I don't think this ability was thought out nor designed well, good concept, but why cant it function like Talons Q?

Click it, its active. If you are outside of melee range you jump slightly to them, instead you have to hold your finger down and pray it doesnt glitch out =/

If it worked properly it would be fine.

i press and hold it it turns into some targeting thing and still doesnt activate when i hover it or when i click it so i end up pressing q again for the regular q instead of the dash one that i want to do

Q doesent work right on champs that are running away form WW. I have noticed this a few times. When in range it either does not go off or if it does and you hold Q down you don't go to that champs other side.
