I'll be seeing all these kids from time to time tryna play like they're the nice guy and shit but we all know you're toxic asf when you're not typing on the board.

And then there will be these other kids commenting toxicity back into another toxic thread.

And then there will be those other kids as well, that will talk nonsense....

In or Out of game, all I see is hypocrites.

Is there even one person out there who isn't a hypocrites? That doesn't tell other shit and them does the same shit?

How? Do you add them as your friend, and play a couple matches with them?

Because outside of actually playing the game with them, there's no real way to tell how they are in-game as opposed to on the boards.

Firstly - saying "here" has several different meanings in the context of the boards, which, you have to be fairly narrow for people to know what you mean. Saying "here", as to broadly encompass all of the boards, when you've only really bothered with Player Recruitment is a bit of a fallacy.

Just because you've dealt with a few bad eggs in Player Recruitment doesn't mean everybody on PR, or the boards as a whole, are hypocritical, toxic people. And, as for your suggestion for me to try PR - I have, actually. Near the end of the 2017 Ranked Season, when I saw I had only but a month or so to grind Flex 3's and Flex 5's, I tried using the Player Recruitment boards.

I met with some success - had a few particularly good players, but sadly it wasn't quite enough to help me climb into Gold. And they were good-natured people, too - we talked a bit on Discord, and we worked pretty well together, and even settled a small quarrel (one of the people played Evelynn despite her recent rework, kinda bombed the match for us) in a mature fashion.

And while I'm still inclined to agree that the community is fairly toxic, I say so with the conscious knowledge that the toxicity is, slowly but surely, being hammered down to a minimum.

All said, you are yourself contributing to the toxicity with your zealous, broad statements about the community - and, more than that, insulting the Player Behavior board over some misgivings you've gotten from Player Recruitment. By which I mean, this quote:

You're being too broad about referring to the boards as a whole, which given the frustrations you've gotten from Player Recruitment, the assertion that everyone on the boards are hypocrites only contributes to the toxicity that you're trying to point out.

I've used Player Recruitment before - not a bad experience, even if the outcome wasn't wholly desirable.

And the community may be fairly toxic, but it's not quite as toxic as you imagine - not quite as toxic as it had been in the past. It's certainly more tame now than when I first joined it.

My response: your writing isn't as clear as Umbral's.

You should be a politician the way you spin things in your head. You'd do very well in American politics. Some of the dirtiest, lying, misleading tactics are used there. You'd fit in well.

Lol, you're an ass. But you never said you're not, so you're not technically a hypocrit. See how that word works? Because you've used it wrong several times. Do as I say, not as I preach.

If I tell you to do something, and then I do the opposite, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm a hypocrit. It just means I don't practice what I preach. I never said I don't do those things, I just said you shouldnt. You see? There's a lot of wisdom to be shared... it doesn't mean I have to live a perfect life in order to share my wisdom.

If I tell you it's best to not be toxic, and then I go and be toxic, guess what? That's not being a hypocrit.

That's not being a hypocrit. A hypocrite is saying "I don't suck" and being bronze 5. Or saying "I'm chill af" and then not being chill. You need to recognize the difference. That's not hypocrisy, that's looking for someone to play with, who has qualities that you look for in a teammate.

Since it's against board policy to list players to further support your class I fail to see your point.

Furthermore, to actually prove your hypocrisy, you'd have to know their moral beliefs, instead of making a casual reference to perceived toxcity on the boards.

Sure, you can reasonably assume their moral beliefs, but that's all you can do.

Lastly, just because you think you experienced exactly what you claim, or heck even if it is your experience, that does not mean you can generalize the rest of the community.
