Why flame? It serves no purpose except for a brief, fleeting sense of personal satisfaction if you're into that sort of thing. And it backfires if you're being trolled, because you're giving the troll what they want.
If somebody on your team has basic knowledge gaps, the best thing you can do for yourself is to try to educate them with time remaining to save the game. Otherwise the only "benefit" you can get by berating them is to make them feel worse.
I had a Nasus in my game not too long ago who, apparently, didn't understand that his Q needed to be stacked on minions to actually deal damage. I was pissed; Nasus stacking his Q is a fundamental component of his kit and one of the most widely known mechanics in the game, and a Nasus player without that knowledge is considerably gimped. I was going to probably lose due to my top laner having a glaring knowledge gap about his own champ! But I simply said "hey Nasus, your Q permanently gains damage if you use it to last-hit minions, and you'll need that to be relevant in the late game". Flaming him wouldn't have helped me at all.
I honestly forget if he got good mid-game and was relevant to our team fights, but he did thank me, and he did start stacking his Q.
