trolls shouldnt get a pass because they forced someone to dodge. and i dont mean teemo support.

i mean "im adc fa*ot idc what you say, fck you." as soon as we load in.

"lol blow me fa**ot im adc or i'll feed"

Ahhh teen angst.

Or 'I don't like our top laner's summoner spells, I'm taking cleanse/smite midlane and making sure you fucks lose, have fun!'

There's even written intent to ruin the game; I would like to report them. +1

it blows my mind this is getting thumbs downed.

Ok but Cleanse/ Smite mid lane is in no way reportable...

You can't judge if you will lose based off champ select. So in no way is this report example viable.

Reread my original comment; this player outright admitted he was going to feed and make sure we lost the game in champion select.

I didn't care about his summoner spells, I cared about his threat to ruin the game. This was a real lobby I had, not just a fictional example. I had to dodge.

Because champ select only last a few minutes at most. Even less than a minute if someone dodges. If you are allowed to report people because of the less than a minute in a dodged champion select, because a random guy said "fuck you" once, you are wasting RIot's time and resources on something that is not even gonna result in a ban (one phrase is not enough for a ban).

"wastes riot time"? its bot automated.

not to mention "fuck you" one time, is far different than what i said.

Trolling until someone dodges is far different, don't attempt to belittle someones point by changing it, Hilary.

Same thing. There's nothing to report for. Refusing to communicate at most, then again same reasoning with something that only lasts a minute. You can't report someone for "Was going to ruin my game, but he actually hasn't done it (yet)". There's a report for Intentional Feeding but no report for "He was thinking about intentionally feeding but he actually hasn't done it (yet)".

So, swearing, flaming and refusing to play the game if you do not get your own way is not toxic?

If i say im thinking about calling you an asshole, is that not toxic because i said im thinking about it?

If anything, it should be made available to be seen for when the game is over as it can back up people's claims as to when the trolling and toxicity started, therefore making it easier for the toxic player to be punished. Plus, there are some nasty things people can type within a minute and make it hard from the beginning for the team to play well. Riot is all about helping players get along, at least they have said, so why not make it easier on people to actually help ban toxic players and make it a better gaming community?

its sucks to have someone do this, but at least you can dodge.

you assume trolls are dumb and will keep doing the same thing but now you can report them pregame. they arent. add report to champ select and they will change their behavior. now they just keep quiet and you will wonder wtf the top lane is doing taking varus. then he shows up bot after you are in game.

wouldnt you rather know you have a troll before the game starts so you can get out of there? i would. i like dodging better than getting trolled for 35 mins.
