Hi There. A friend of a friend is saying that this last patch has completely eliminated....um...how

......shall we put this, while still keeping to the forum guidelines.....completely eliminated certain nefarious activities which violate the summoner code.

Is this true?

Here are some snippets, he seems VERY convinced of this. If it's true then that's GREAT news, but I'm a little skeptical. ( Replace the "XXXXX" with the words 'certain nefarious activities which cannot be mentioned' )

> angrysummonert: lol you suck *** bud > you accuse people of scripting vvhen you just suck > lol > > > ---- > > badsummoner: take it as a compliment if you like i mean your team worked together like magic > angrysummoner: you are bad **** lickeer > licker* > badsummoner: and were quicker than I've seen in plat matches > angrysummoner: and you accuse people of cheating > lol > you are such **** > badsummoner: what 's licker? > angrysummoner: not only a shitty player > badsummoner: maybe you are cheating > angrysummoner: but a shitty person > lol > badsummoner: how would i know > angrysummoner: i'm not > > > ----- > > > summoner: YOU CAN"T XXXXX ANYMORE > > ---- > > summoner: ******* learn hovv XXXXXX vvorks > summoner: welll if that's true then that's awesome summoner: lol you ******* moron they didn't add XXXX detectors they vvent directly for the program

if there's i can post the entire exchange which my friends kindly sent me, but the point is that he seems convinced this activity has now been completely resolved somehow. I really hope he's right.

Is he telling the truth?

As far as I can tell there is nothing in the patch notes about this:

I have no fucking idea what you're specifically referring to or why you formatted it that way. But no, Riot has nowhere near removed scripting in general from the game. There was a ban wave recently, it's even possible that the script just needs updated, but I don't know what he's talking about.

if you believe a player is cheating, send in a ticket to support.

There are always going to be hacks, scripts, and other cheating programs. If you can code it, you can hack it. Programs that have any interaction at all can be scripted and anything on a computer can be hacked. Not a single game out there is 100% cheat-proof.
