If you are restricted from Hextech Crafting read this

There is no specific timetable for lowering your punishment tier. You must play games and not have valid reports filed against you frequently in order to regain the punitive system's trust. This is not a new system you have always been on a watch-list of sorts for a while after you are punished and the system slowly decides if you are reformed or not by judging your games played vs valid reports received. You are only now facing consequences of a system that has always been in place.

The onus is on you to prove to riot that you deserve free loot, so get out there and play some good games and you'll be looting like the rest of us in no time.

We're working on putting out a better explanation for this. For players that are punished by the Instant Feedback system and work off the punishment, they will still be restricted from earning Hextech chests or keys for a period while the system ensures that they have reformed their behavior. There is no fixed interval here - if you continue to play with sportsmanlike behavior, you'll eventually get back into good standing. We're looking into making a player's status more clear/visible to help avoid this kind of confusion.

Thanks for taking the time to read this instead of making another thread asking why you can't loot chests right now. It makes life easier for all of us on the PB&M board.

What's interesting to me is that Riot didn't have a system in place like that to begin with when the crafting went live. They knew that they would have this issue, yet didn't have the foresight to put off the launch of the system til they put in something like that mentioned.

I've given up on ever getting that annoying spam message about the crafting off my post game screen even tho I've had nothing but positive things since my 10 game chat restriction a month ago. It's kinda sad that they didn't fully test this system on the PBE...

I don't think it's that simple.

I earned the summoner icon for positive behavior, the Santa icon for positive behavior, the New Year's skin for positive behavior, and had the friendly ribbon before Riot decided to take away 90% of the community's ribbons.

I had one really bad day on here where I was swearing like a sailor because I was stressed out that day and didn't realize it when I logged on, and my teammates were extra toxic; like four people flaming each other, and me, even though we were ahead, and then inevitably losing. That was most of the games that day, as well.

I managed to earn myself a chat restriction in one day, after two years of positive behavior and nothing but honors and friend requests and smiley faces. Now I'm ineligible for Hextech, and being reminded of that after every game I earn an S in, and after every game teammates say the community would be more positive if there were more people like me.

Oh, I know i deserved that punishment. I also know that I'll reform quickly enough to be eligible again before hextech annie is released. The other thing is, I don't really have any friends like that who can support me like that. All of my old friends from high school who play this game are constant ragers and flamers, so I don't play with them anymore, and I tend to avoid them outside of League, as well. My most positive friends don't even live near me, or live out of state, sadly.

I've actually become quite the introvert, because I tend to self-destruct and ruin any good things that come my way. I went from Straight A student in gifted programs and AP courses to college dropout who barely graduated high school. League is really the only thing that gives me confidence in myself again, so I guess that's why I'm a little bit sensitive to people saying that I'm trash or don't deserve my rank and that I should stop getting boosted. But, if I managed positivity for most of Season 5, I'm sure I can do it again.

Realistically, if people read the rules instead of making new threads, this subboard wouldn't exist at all.

I didn't say I earned it off one game, I said I earned it in one day. When I'm off work or not working with other artists on music collaborations, I play 10+ games a day, sometimes more. And I can tell you right now, looking at my reform card, I didn't say anything homophobic, or racial, or send any death threats, but I did swear and insult to the max and flame for lack of skill. It was a frustrating day, but I hadn't even received a warning. Just went straight to 10 game restriction. Had I received a warning, I probably would've taken a step back, logged off, cooled off, and came back another time.

I was raised by parents who constantly bicker and argue over the smallest of things, and then turn around and tell me to my face they're not yelling, they're just talking with passion, so most of the time when I communicate, it comes off wrong, and I don't fix it unless someone tells me. That's not an excuse, but that's just how my brain operates until I can change myself which can't happen overnight, and I'm constantly working on it. I even did door to door sales for a few months just to work on communication and customer service, and that went amazing. Then, I came home and it was back to the same environment with the parents who argue and bicker.

It is what it is. Can't change the past. All I'm saying is, people make mistakes, and people have bad days, and depression, stress, and anxiety are real issues that affect a lot of people and also affect the way they can deal with emotional responses. I really don't see how in the 5k games I've played, how I can be perfectly positive in all of them, regardless of what's going on in my life, unless I'm a sociopath who feels no emotion, and is just faking positivity to benefit me.

I can also tell you right now that I didn't have any valid reports filed against me in Season 5, because I barely played, and that was the season I was away from my home environment, and only around positive people, so I kind of forgot how to even be negative. (I guess that's why it was easier to climb and my performance overall went up drastically, lol.) In Season 4, if I had any valid reports, it was rare, but in Season 3, I was in a bad spot in reality, and I took that out in the game. That was when the Tribunal was up, and I did receive a punishment, but hadn't received one since until this season.

After a few months of no valid reports against me( I hope ) I hope they will add up soon™?

So, my friend, who was also ineligible for rewards, has already reformed and is eligible for them again as of today. How long has it been since Hextech was released? Four days? Maybe five? I guess it's really not as a big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

Edit: He was chat restricted less than a month ago.

Truth be told, I don't believe a jack Rioters responsible for anything Player Behavior-related say at this point.

The other day I was told, it takes 10 games of not idling or AFKing to have Low Priority Queue penalty tier lowered. I played at least 30 spotless games and on the first offense got maxed penalty.
