When people take my lane in lobby, can i report them?

had a duo basically extort me out of bot lane. one of them had gotten mid and asked if he can have bot. I said no cause i don't have a rune page for mid laners. so then he banned my pick. Then i went and hovered over tristana and his duo partner banned her and then he said thanks for bot. Then they said it was either i take mid or it was going to be 3 man bot lane.

This counts as negative behavior (grieving) at the very least. Make sure you write a bit out. Because they usually only see all-chat logs. But if they do this more than once, having a detailed report or two should be enough(to use another reason to ban em anyways, maybe even).

This particular case is a clear"Negative Behavior" case. In any game mode that uses Role Selection (Normal and Ranked Drafts), the player assigned the role has priority on that role. It is solely at their discretion whether they accept giving up that role, and players who attempt to hijack the role or sabotage the player by repeatedly banning out champions you show as intent before the selection phase.

In any case involving rule violations happening during Champ Select, or Post match Lobby, always type in the comment section the information that it occurred in which lobby, and the nature of problem.

You should have gone for 3 mid, they would dodge.

Just go bot. Ideally after picking Sivir so you could get a lot of farm and push the lane in.

Remember, riot is fine with breaking the meta, so if you want to do 3 man bot, you can. ;)

you can report someone for breaking anything the summoners code or the AUP. You should read them in entirety and find how they wronged you.

  1. Never hover your champs, that stops trolls from banning them.

  2. Don't relinquish your lane, you got bot then play bot... if they both go bot then report them but don't say anything to them. Just let them troll and be salty in chat----they will get punished, you will not.

  3. You could dodge the queue; if it's ranked then it's totally worth the 3 LP loss and 6 minute wait. If it's normal then it is ABSOLUTELY worth it to let them troll you, report them and get them banned.

The above assumes Riot will ban for this, but about the only way that such a thing ACTUALLY happens is if they call you multiple racial slurs in chat or use specific pejorative phrases referring to your sexuality.

sure, you can report them for unsportsmanlike conduct. While it's best to use the post game reporting system, you can take a screen shot of the conversation during champ select and send it to support.riotgames.com under general game questions -> account information (or something like that).

also, you can play marksmen in the mid lane. Jhin and Kindred come to mind immediately. Lucian can work decently there as well.
