Why do people take meta so seriously in normals?

I just had a game where I was gp top and yorick top. Yorick got mad and was playing like complete dog shit but i said nothing all game despite his shit gameplay because it's a game i just wanna have fun. So yorick is taking my cs that's fine whatever we just compete for cs not a big deal because regardless of who gets cs, it's 2v1 top so darius will never be able to just out right fight us without outplaying us while me and yorick can harrass him all lane.

But of course what actually happened, the yorick is a fucking potato and just let's darius poke him with q all game without even trying to back off but it's whatever nothing big happened yet. Then later the yorick and I try to kill darius because he starts going aggressive on me, but the darius actually knows how to play while the yorick plays like a potato. We both die. Basically I got darius super low and then flashed out and even ignited him, he had about 200 hp which yorick can easily just finish him off. But yorick doesn't, dies and then darius flashes after me and kills me too. So at this point I am just gonna play defensive because darius has 2 kills now.

Then the darius constantly plays very disrespectful in a way to try and bait out fights. He is around 25 percent health or lower but he knows he can turn around fights and yorick is constantly trying to 1v1 and dies again. The next fight darius is super low, about 200 hp. Despite his q that will heal him, I feel like i have more than enough damage to burst him before he kills me as I have my ult, ignite, flash, and my passive as gangplank. The yorick is coming too after respawning from death. I fight darius and almost die but I take him out by kiting him a bit while my dots (ignite and my ult pelting him) get him killed. I live with a sliver of health and I look and the yorick was already there just chillen near the tower. He could have easily helped but he purposely stood there because he wanted me to die.

I type in chat asking why he stood there when he could have helped me and he says yeah he didn't help because he wanted me to die for stealing him lane when I was supposed to jungle.

You know what frustrates me? This is blind pick normal, why are people so anal about meta and where to go in lane? As long as there is a single person guarding a tower, you can have 3 mid, 3 top, or 3 bot and it would still work out. It's fucking blind pick. As long as you defend towers and take towers you will be fine, no one is that coordinated especially in blind pick with players who are unranked and iron. Yet everyone always acts like a fucking child giving up and purposely trolling rather than trying to win.

There's more than one way to win a game. You don't need to always have 1 top, 1 jungle, 1 mid, 2 bot especially in blind fucking pick where most people are gold and below. Everyone says for me to shut up and that I'm the troll because I didn't jungle. Who the fuck cares about jungle? Most junglers silver and below don't know what the fuck they are doing and just wing it all the time. They are the biggest liability to the game because when you need them to gank or take objectives, they are farming camps and just basing never really doing anything on the map. And farming camps all game you will still be behind your top and mid laner in gold and exp yet they think they are ahead the other jungle who is ganking and getting kills and objectives. Ever heard the meme better jungler wins? It's because junglers can roam and highly influence lanes if the other jungler is a fucking potato who ain't doing shit but farming camps and then back to base all game.

What gets me mad is the game is an auto loss because someone wants to be a 5 year old brat who can't share lane and starts to just purposely lose rather than trying to win. The yorick could help and try his best to win regardless of if there isn't a jungler, there is still a chance. But he just decides he is allowed to purposely not help and let his teammates die. I guess since there isn't virtual points aka lp on the line, he don't care since he didn't have it his way. But if anything, the troll is more the guy who is purposely not helping teammates and not trying to win rather than the one doing something unusual like duo top or fiddle adc. You could pick the best pick champ for a lane but what good would it be if you are purposely not trying to win and not helping? A janna ad would be more useful than you are and less troll than a person who just sits back and does nothing because he can't get top lane to himself so he decides to just not try and force a 4v6. it's 4v6 because he is basically on their team since he takes half your exp and gold while not helping you so he is basically another member of the enemy team.
