We should have ban protection from teammates on hovered picks in champ select

More than a few times now, i've ended up unintentionally banning champs that teammates wanted to play, or had my own intended pick banned by teammates, purely because we were afraid to show our picks and risk trolls banning them.

Coordinating team comps, another major benefit of hovering champs in champ select, is being foiled because everyone is afraid of trolls banning hovered champs once they know what their teammates want to play.

I understand that with the installation of ban protections, there would be room for potential trolling from mischievous players hovering popular bans just to prevent them, but in my opinion, it feels far worse to have your hovered champ troll banned.

There is only a percentage chance that the enemy team would pick whatever a troll is preventing from being banned, however a hovered pick being troll-banned by your own team feels bad 100 percent of the time.

It should just give you the same box as when you almost ban the pick you were hovering. Otherwise... just pay attention?

Edit: My suggestion is for if you accidentally ban a teammates pick. However intentional bans... it's not that common imo.

No. I'm not leaving a pick or ban champion open just because 5th pick wants it and no one can FP it for him.

There's a little text box that warns you before you ban something that has been picked by a teammate.
