Like, why does the surrender vote fail 1-4 when its 9-35 at min 22 and we have 1 tower while the enemies are at inhib towers in every lane?
This happens way too often...
You know, it's a vote for a reason. It's not just about you.

If the vote fails 1-4, the problem might just be you.
Because there are a couple different reasons not to surrender - someone only has the time slotted out for one game, or wants to try and practice lategame playstyles, or even just is still having fun playing. If people don't want to surrender, they shouldn't have to.
If you've been a butt to me, and you're not enjoying your game, then suffer.
I hate fun also.
Reason for never surrendering
I never surrender (at least I'll never initiate a surrender vote), but it's not caused by some kind of extreme competitive spirit in my case. I just like to play the game; being on the losing end makes it more challenging, and offers more chances to learn how to improve.
Needs to stop? Nooooooo, we will never surrender!!!!
Why surrender when you can hold your teammates hostage for an extra 10-20 minutes in an obvious loss?
They failed hard and cost you ELO so you might as well burn as much of their time up as possible.
The never surrender mentality is what led to Japan getting nuked.... twice.
Why does it need to stop? Only because you have a different opinion and are in the minority, or any other reasons?

Not sure why this is downvoted we've all been there before where we just wanted to get the game over with and people keep hitting no on the surrender vote even when the enemy team has a fed

tbh I almost never get to play a full length game in normal now. quite sad cause I never get to go full build on the new champs I want to try out
Had a game where we lost EVERY tower (even nexus towers)...almost an hour game and we won because we ended up being able to team fight better then the enemy could. We all wanted to give up...honestly I would have surrendered as I didn't feel that we deserved the win since our mid was getting destroyed by a mid BARD (yeah...like 6 solo deaths by Bard). But we won.
Personally, if a player plays poorly and drops too many alliterations calls a surrender vote, I vote no.
If I see an enemy that has 0 deaths, I focus him before surrendering unless the above happens because DAMNIT! THAT PERSON IS HAVING FUN AND THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE!
You are forgetting a few crucial points why some players never ff
Solution I tell my team during the first ff vote that I only vote yes one time. IMO if a team won't ff at 20 then I see no difference in a 20 minute wasted game and a 55 minute wasted game. Let them suffer. After you tell them you only vote yes once, don't talk anymore, never vote and let the vote timer drag to zero. See how quickly they become the toxic typers. All those guys who had those stupid positive messages "dont ff we have the late game" etc.
