Title says it all, LP should be refunded when a teammate is straight up inting. Yes I know players have bad games but when someone is straight up running into the enemy base or running into enemy champs and standing letting them kill them, that's not the teams fault nor do they deserve to be punished for it(losing LP). A punishment to the offending player is not enough. They just make a new account or buy one and run it down again.

Then we run into the problem of people reporting anyone who doesn’t do well on top of reporting anyone on a loss hoping they trigger said system

Exactly, it already exists. If someone is punished for intentional feeding, the teammates of said game/games are given an LP gift of the full or partial amount lost, which just seems fair IMO. Most players who are feeding arent doing it intentionally, but the ones that are actively trying to lose their teammates LP and there should be some sort of compensation. No adjustment to how they determine inters, just an addition to the already established system.

They would also have to remove LP gains for the winning team since they didn't actually earn the win.
