Your "LeaverBuster" system is garbage.

Reason one why the LeaverBuster system is complete garbage - there is not enough time before a remake vote can happen to give someone the chance to reconnect when something beyond their control happens, see reason two. Reason number two - when something happens, I don't know like, when the client crashes mid loading screen and when you attempt to reconnect because you had to restart your computer because the client is bugged, which would apparently come from it being updated hastily and without any proper testing, nope remake so you lost LP and on top of that... you get 20 min que timer for ONE time. The system was a good try but it was poorly executed and is punishing the wrong people. I've been on the wrong side of it twice now. The first was because you failed to make an in game notice about a known client issue and this time because your client can't seem to go without crashing for any meaningful length of time. If you are going to make a system to do your job, you may as well not waste the money by making one that does it poorly.

Wanna bet? Finished one series of 5 leaverbuster restrictions due to being late to 3 games, of which two were won, due to the xbox game bar thing... which was whatever, fixed the problem then played my 5 games and finished with no faults. Two more games this morning then queued into another after work tonight and guess what.... another leaverbuster que restriction. System is actually garbage.

System is garbage, but the truth is, if you got your first leaverbuster as a twenty, it's most likely glitches. First is 5, then ten, then twenty! Perfect time to watch Dunkey and play hearthstone! That's why riot made the trash system:to give people more time to do these things! Yep people complain! Riot gave us a present, and we, the spoiled player brats, shoved it in the garbage and said it was trash. Shame on you, illaoi!

As far as I can remember the first one I had was the other day which was caused by the game bar bug, which players should have been made aware of other than on the boards, at 20 min per queue for 5 games. Then this one after one game when I was reconnecting before the vote even happened. It just doesn't make sense to me how being afk at the start of the game and then reconnecting is punishable as being disconnected at the start but reconnecting soon after appears to show, in my opinion, that it was not a purposeful act and was likely outside of the players realm of control. I.E. - client crash, glitch between client and system, computer crash, bug splat, or even someone else unplugged the router... etc... things that just simply happen for one reason or another. The system should punish those who leave a game and don't come back or never attempt to reconnect. Also, as far as the "spoiled player brats" comment goes, many players pay for things(buying RP) which makes Riot A LOT of money, so yeah we get to complain when something isn't right.

If you need to restart your computer every time the game crashes, maybe there is something wrong with your computer? Ive had the game crash on me but im able to make it back before the remake is enabled. Also You seem to contradict yourself. You claim this is from just one game, yet said in your replies you gotten leavbuster/left games in the past. This isnt considered a one time thing. You left numerous game (even if you came back thats still considered leaving)

In this particular case, I did need to restart the computer. Also, as was already stated, my previous punishment from the leaverbuster system was due to the client freezing because of an issue with the Xbox game bar, auto enabled on the last windows 10 update, and the client which would freeze the client and you could not get out of the client at all, couldn't even force close the program. Like I also said, that problem should have been made more aware to players, but I made little fuss and completed the low prio queue and even won 4/5 games. What I'm saying is, sometimes things happen beyond a players control which is not intended to be malicious in any way, there need to be changes to the system to account for that.

The fact of the matter is that you claim you were getting punished for one game, it's not. Just like the other punishments it "sticks" with you till the system sees you are reform. This is the reason why when you constantly leave you go up in tiers of your punishment. The first offense when leaving numerous games is 5min LPQ, then it goes up by 5mins for each offense. This is why you got 20mins because the system hasnt properly seen that you reform from leaving your games (whether intentional or not)

In the case of having a way to know the difference between someone leaving intentionally or not is physically impossible to determine especially for a program to know. Let alone when word comes out of how the system works people would just abuse it to get free of punishment. Like if the system thought that an unintentionally leaving would be as simple as losing connection (turning off your modem, unplugging your Ethernet cable, turning off your computer) people will do that just to not get punished by the system.

i do agree with you, but unless you know how to make a program like this we just have to settle with what we got.

Really would not be that difficult to develop a program to determine that based on disconnect times.
