Who invented this word "toxic"

I started in preseason S3-s4.And when i started to play,i didn;t even knew about this word:|..bcs i didn't care man.Now,everybody tries to make others be toxic:|..in a game where you get competitive.I mean really?Ofc words will get thrown, bcs it's a frustrating game.If you ask Riot,which team reports more often-they will definetly say,the losing team.It's obvious:|.

Now,i can't even tell them."Stop feeding" bcs i am being negative:|..i mean really?He clearly doesn;t know what to in this situatiion.(he dies too much) that's why i tell him that.Is it wrong?If,yes, than i am sorry:))).This was only an example.The most frustrating part of the game,is when someone gets caught and dies:)..he just fcked up the game.Ofc people will say something.And i can;t blame them. But what about this guy,that gets caught and lost the game for me?what about him?He didn;t troll,he didn;t do anything offensive to Riot. All he did was lose my game,bcs he didn't listen to pings.You ask me,not to get man?OFc i will get mad.It's natural It's not natural to hold it,in you and burst in real life bcs of this shit.I swear,i become kind of mad in real life,bcs of this.

I understand the report system.You report someone to get some sort of relief after a losing game.And it's fine.but bannig people over their language,it's not fine.And will never be fine in my eyes.You get involved in this game,and natural, you get sometimes mad.

When i started playing,people could say anything..and it was fine.Nobody got mad over a game.But now,seems like everybody is toxic:)) Really dislike this. and i really don;t know what can it be done to revert the changes

If i may ask, do you SERIOUSLY, and answer this with a straight face, think they will "stop feeding" just because u tell them? When you have bad game (Lets say that Zed game u went 1:8:0 in 15 mins), if your teammates told you after 3 deaths "stop feeding", would u end game with better score? Was "stop feeding" something u needed to be told to become better in that particular game?

That was an example, that puts in evidence the need of people to relief for having a losing lane. I will answer with a question.If they feed(purposely or not) can i not believe that maybe that certain player has no ideea what to do in that situation?. Is it not safe to assume, that maybe they don;t know how to play? It's simple

If they actually don't know how to play, how will saying "stop feeding" help them? It's not like those are very precise instructions. And there are healthier (for both sides) ways to vent than letting it out on strangers.

There's a difference between something being fine and something not being punished.

Then your logic is pretty horrible. Just because people accidentally do something doesn't mean they don't know that it's a bad thing.

I also find it quite amazing that are perfectly aware of all the emotions every single player has felt back then. May I ask at which age you noticed you have that superpower?

If you actually believe somebody is playing intentionally bad, and you're not just using this as a bullshit excuse to be a dick to them, you can always just report them. See, there's a solution to everything.

What solution?It was an example,u missed the point but w/e. And towards this example.I can;t be 100% of this guy intentions.That's why i feel the need to tell him"stop feeding" Bcs if he feeds,it's clear to me, that he doesn;t know that he needs to stop feeding:) OO,but hey..he could just say in the chat that he is having a bad game:)..which they never do:)

So what if they don't say they're having a bad game (which btw, a lot of people do)? Maybe they're not having a bad game, maybe they simply are bad. That doesn't mean they don't understand one of the most basic core principles of this game and, frankly 99% of the games that exist: dying is bad.

Furthermore, I think I'll have to drop the sarcasm since you don't seem to pick up on it: If you honestly believe that somebody could not know that feeding is bad, you are being condecending as hell. And being condecending is about the primary reason why "stop feeding" is considered bad mannered in the first place.

Bottom line: "Stop feeding" is condescending. Each of your posts so far has done nothing but prove that.

Regarding this subject

Is it not BM to feed and not say "sry guys i am having a bad game"?Bcs in my eyes it is. Also,the matter is simple. You feed=I believe that you don;t know that feeding is bad.Hence,i need to say something "stop feeding".Bcs i whant to win the game right?I need all that i can get And i am not condecending..i am just.

The responses to this post are great. Basically, the argument is "You should get reported for saying 'stop feeding' because you know it won't work. You should just play the game without saying anything to this stranger." Then you go to threads where people advocate for "permanent chat-bans instead of permanent game-bans" and the argument will be "People have to communicate in a team game, so permanent chat-bans are a terrible idea!"

So in one post, you have people telling you not to communicate, and in the other post, you have people saying you have to communicate. In both posts, you have people white knighting for rito.

The point is that there is no actual proper argument for being able to say "stop feeding". It's neither friendly nor helpful. And frankly, in my honest opinion, people that claim that "stop feeding" is constructive advise are being delusional.

And nobody, literally not a single person, is saying that you should play the game without saying anything. However if there's the choice between saying something unfriendly, unhelpful and unnecessary, and saying nothing, I vote for saying nothing.

Although it is neither friendly nor helpful, I would argue that it is also neither unfriendly nor unhelpful nor unnecessary. It is not a constructive command, it is a neutral command. Assuming the person who is feeding doesn't have a bug up their butt, it could lead to more specific tips.

"Stop feeding."

"I'm being ganked."

"Put down a ward and hug your turret. I'll be up there in a second."

I guess you're right though, we should just assume the worst of people in games. If they're feeding, don't say anything because they'll get pissed off.

Why should you assume stuff? If the guy feeds and doesn't say anything in the chat.And i tell him "stop feeding".Am i wrong?I am working with what I have.I see someone that doesnt know that feeding is bad.(bcs he is doing that)I just tell him,to stop doing that.It's completely fair in my eyes.

Also,you guys live in USA.You have a great system there that makes a difference between what is fair and what is just

English isn't your first language, is it? And sarcasm doesn't translate well across languages, does it? I'm on your side, dude..

I was being sarcastic toward TrulyBland, because he is advocating for a community that assumes that everyone will get pissed off at you (assumes the worst) unless you completely ignore them or kiss their ass.

No,but i speak it decently..I believe i need practice with my language,but i can;t really get it:P..maybe on the forums:)

I got that you were on my side and you are right,sarcasm translates hard into other languages:P

And i know exactly what this guy is trying to do.But, it's my opinion regarding the game.Some can argue some can not.

Yeah I'm not native And in my opinion you still learn things(all your life. My accent is really bad also:)..But you know how they say: practice makes "perfect":))

I just made this thread so that i understand something.Bascily, why do people care about what other people say in this game?when did the "toxic" word became something relevant in this game?We didn;t had this in S3-S4.Nobody cared.I remember one game where somone was talking really bad towards me and we ended up duoing and became friends:). Now,it;s like you hurt someone feelings or something:)). I understand the need to get some sort of retaliation threw reports.But honeslty,this whent too far.People say stupid stuff all the time. But the people in this game,became to frustrated with the word "toxic" that every single line you write in chat, it can be seen as "offensive"
