Do good players receive a punishment for ruining your game?

Example is the game i played where the jungler would come to my lane and constantly push it making me compete for farm. When i died to gank for being extended in the lane he would ping mias on my body. And just to top it off when i was frustrated he would keep saying stuff like "idk im bad at this game. Syndra could you ever forgive me." I don't think reporting him would do anything because he did well in game. Can an automated system even catch behavior like that? Because the way he was so cocky about it makes me think he knows that he can be as toxic as he wants i so long as he does it in a way an automatic system never can.

Bring back tribunal please...

If he's ping-spamming you, trolling your lane, and being sarcastic to you in chat... that's griefing. It might not be a clear enough case to trigger a punishment, but yeah, it's outside the spirit of the game and reportable.

Couldn't say how effective the system would be, but I'd give them a report anyway and see what happens.

Good gameplay means nothing infront of bad behavior

Just because they say platitudes in game does not mean their actions don't reflect trolling.

If you feel they are trolling you and trying to grief you in game, then report it as say negative behavior and in the comments describe what happened and save the replay just in case something happens on their systems and the replay gets destroyed on their end.

Just because they're skilled does not mean they aren't toxic.

Hey look trolls ruin another player's game and will get away with it EVERY fucking time.

I think you need to get rid of that tin foil hat, it really doesn't do anything to protect you from Riot's mind influencing satellites.

From how I interpreted your story, you could have reported this person. If you suspect their behavior was specifically aimed at making your game a less pleasant experience, then you should report them. Since you feel this behavior was more subtle, you should just include a description of the events that occured in game.

It seems unlikely that this is something that would get flagged by the automated system, but your report will help identify the summoner so his games can be reviewed manually.

Well what do you want him to be punished for? If enemy mid laner is dead jungler is supposed to come and push wave. That way enemy laner will lose CS, you may take tower and eventually wave will reset and u will be able to farm. Also CS is resource that should be used by team to win game. If your jungler was doing fine, then u dont have to compete with him for CS, just let him have it, ward your lane and dont overextend. Wait for wave to reset.

Throwing a game isn't always toxic behaviour, some people just don't understand parts of the game.
