Let's Talk about my Smurf

I didn't get banned. I don't want to stomp new players. I don't want a chance to reset ranked. I'm not playing with my friends. I'm smurfing because I really enjoy awesome names.

There's something cool about seeing Annie Bot on Annie, Janna Mechanics on Janna, Malicious Metal on Numero Uno. At the same time, there's no way in hell I'm giving up this name. So I'm making a smurf; when I decide on a champion or role, I'll give it an awesome name.

The process of leveling an account has been painful. By now I'm only matched vs smurfs, but they're all different elos, so games are super stompy. Many players were previously banned and haven't reformed. It's hard to do off-meta builds because I lack the specific runes to make them work (looking at you, Ashe jungle).

What do you think about Riot introducing a system where a single account can have more than one summoner name registered?
